About the adventure
Set in Edinburgh, Scotland, Drops of Midnight is a campaign designed for players new to Mage to explore the game system, get comfortable with the game style, and explore a real world setting with magickal rules. Players will find themselves as one of the awakened tasked with unmasking the secrets behind an extremely popular new night club where paradox events have become far too commonplace. Through unravelining the layers of the mystery, they will explore the factions of the Mage world and come to understand different belief systems about how magick should be wielded.

About me
I am an experienced writer, teacher, and GM. I first played D&D at college and quickly became a part of a friend group that met up weekly to play D&D, Mage, and Pathfinder. After college, I both played and was the GM for games that met at the local gaming shop for about five years. When I started my career as a high school teacher, I gamified my classroom to be a D&D style rpg where my students could earn spells and level up in a world filled with lore and bosses they could defeat for rewards. Post teaching, I spent some time with an online group with that did recording for Youtube and I was the GM for one of the recorded D&D 5e campaigns. All in all, I've been playing for 20 years and been a GM for about 18 of those years.

Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord and Alchemy VTT during our games. Both of these are free to sign up.
What SoleiaFlur brings to the table
This game will provide a guided environment using images, maps, music, and more to set the scenes and make players feel immersed in the world and the mystery they are tasked to solve. More than anything, the point is for us to have fun and learn a new TTRPG system.
