About the adventure
A letter with a blood red seal, once opened, the mist will fill your lungs, and the story will begin. Do you dare accept the invitation? This is a gothic horror, designed for intro players, but all are welcome This is an expanded version as I merged elements from the original Ravenloft publication from the 1990's and the reimagined 2015 module into a longer, more roleplay focused and world exploration style game. This will include 100's of new NPC's, a dozen new factions to engage with, and several new cities to explore. This game delves into Barovia, a sick and twisted landscape that has been corrupted by a curse for so long that the people inside aren't even human anymore.

Hello folks if anyone is down to start playing please message 4 hours before the game starts. Hello thank you for checking my profile. If your reading this you might be asking why this Dm and these games. I know how to enchant and kindle the imagination of players. Games are designed around the players' playing styles. During the first session, we will have a discussion as a group and determine what the expectations are for roleplay frequency, combat frequency, and play style, so by the 2nd session, everything will be tailored to the group's wants. I strive to ensure each player feels heard and has a genuine impact on the unfolding narrative. Whether you live for intense role-play, thrilling battles, or creative problem-solving, you’ll find a warm, open environment where you can shine. Code of conduct: 1. This is an all inclusive hobby, I have a Zero tolerance policy when it comes to racism, sexism or any prejudice of any kind. 2. Be on time for the game. If you can't, mention beforehand. 3. Communicate everything, including what's going on with your life (if it becomes relevant to the game). It will be kept between the player and GM. 4. If there are less than 3 players, know the session will be canceled. 5. Don't be a rules lawyer. 6. Please give notice if you want/need to leave the game. 7. Be nice, polite, and respectful. I do character voices and sound effects. I prefer rules as written but rule of cool is king for the right moments. I will have maps and images for most scenes but most of the ever day things will be theater of the mind.

How Mr. Hughes creates a safe table
During our first session while we are making characters we will be having a discussion about player and DM lines and veils, and discussing any triggers that need to be avoided and we will be using messaged X, N & O's. We will will have 15 minutes at the end of the session we will have a debrief, that should be a conversation about wishes, Star, dislikes, and likes.
