About the adventure
The Slumbering Plague is a dark fantasy one-shot where the curse of sleep has spread. Entire villages and caravans have fallen into an unnatural, unending slumber, their bodies alive but minds lost to dreams. The party is sent to a desolate stretch of white sands, where a colossal dead god-tree marks the source of the plague. Beneath its roots, reality weakens, ancient constructs still guard a forgotten purpose, and exhaustion, hallucinations, and dream-magic threaten to pull the heroes into sleep alongside the victims. As the party presses deeper, they enter a fractured dream-realm of fey illusions, broken wards, and lingering echoes of failed expeditions. At the heart of the curse waits the something sinister and treacherous by design. This adventure blends investigation, survival, and combat against enchantment-heavy foes, forcing players to resist sleep, coordinate attacks, and make quick decisions before the dream closes and never lets them wake. As with all of my tables, this is an LGBT-friendly safe space, and discriminatory remarks of any kind are not accepted. There are several homebrew mechanics to provide more flexibility to the classic D&D combat system.

About me
Native to New York City, I have a passion for storytelling and encouraging creativity. I have been playing dungeons and dragons since I saw the first campaign on dimension 20. I bring in a ton of enthusiasm and creativity to each of my games in order make the experience worthwhile for my players. I genuinely love playing cooperative storytelling games and that makes it really easy to show up with a lot of energy for my games. I have been playing tabletop and strategy games for a long time and I can’t get enough, so I’m hoping to inspire that same enthusiasm in others.

What Michael brings to the table
I bring a unique set of homebrew mechanics to make combat more collaborative between players. The rules are used as a baseline, but the Rule of Cool is used to ensure players can go with the flow and express creativity.
