About the adventure

This campaign will run the popular Dungeons of Drakkenheim expanded by Sebastian's Guide and the Monsters of Drakkenheim supplements. 15 years ago, a meteor filled with magically-radioactive crystals crashed into Drakkenheim, the capitol of Westemär, and from then on Doom began its campaign against the world. Several factions have stake in Drakkenheim and beyond, each with their own complicated agendas and plots that care not for the little man or the expendable adventuring team. With your own plans for entering the city, to what ends will your party further Doom? Or will you do your best to avert it?

About me

28y.o. Creative writer by trade, forever DM by passion. I got into tabletop and DnD right before starting college, then took off during my college years in the local RPG club. After graduation in 2020 and the everything that happened, having my crew of ttrpg buddies and baddies to go after kept me sane. Now I want to extend that magic to others also looking for a bit of creative release in a hectic world.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will be using 2024 rules for character creation and some 2014 rules that have no conversions yet from the other books. I will provide access to Sebastian's Guide for subclass options. You may have 1 bonus feat/ASI. You are welcome to create your character before session 0 or before session 1.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A discord and Questportal account are both needed (and free) to join the game. Cameras are not required.

What DeehaDMs brings to the table

I will be providing access to Sebastian's Guide for expanded player options. Please note that this book has not been converted to 2024 rules yet. I am allowing legacy content as it is specialized for this game, otherwise we will be sticking to 2024.

Homebrew rules

More homebrew rules will be listed in the discord, but the main ones are as follows: 1) Players get 1 free feat/ASI during creation 2) Potions are bonus actions 3) Item interactions between players are free 4) Max hp every level up (so I can use cooler monsters)

Safety

How DeehaDMs creates a safe table

We will go over content warnings in more detail during our (free) session 0. I also make time for a 5-10min break during session and debriefs at the end of session to check in. Content Warning from Drakkenheim module: "Violence, murder, blood, gore, cannibalism, and body horror. Degenerative mutations that cause physical disfigurement and madness/insanity. Rats, spiders, insects, demons, undead, ghosts, and other monsters. Natural disasters, large-scale loss of life, civil war, displaced persons, and refugees. Moral ambiguity, social/political manipulation, religious zealotry and military nationalism."
