Creating your character
Everyone starts as a humble villager heading into the Plover Caves to save home. You could have been a florist, chef, blacksmith, potion seller, clockmaker, etc. Let it shape your gear, skills, and flavor. Any community or ancestry works. Underborne feel at home underground. Ridgeborne know harsh terrain and self-sufficiency. Loreborne are here to study the strange cave ecosystem. Clanks can eat food (taste optional). Fungril hear mushrooms scream, cooking gets complicated. All classes are allowed, but Elmore is peaceful. Think about how your character learned to fight or cast spells. Comedy + heart. Go silly, go weird, but leave room for vulnerability, bonds, and genuine emotion.

Preparing for the session
To keep everything organized, all players will need a Discord account and join my server. It’ll be our main hub for chatting, sharing files, and running Session 0. discord.com/register We’ll also be using FoundryVTT to play the game.

I like to stick to the rules for the most part, but I’m totally open to the “rule of cool” when it makes the story more exciting. As long as it’s cinematic, fair, and fits the moment, I’m all for letting cool ideas shine!
