About the adventure
Are you prepared to face the shadows that creep beyond the veil of reality? This is an investigation-driven, Monster-of-the-Week style D&D 5e campaign, set in the grim land of Yörgoth. Each adventure centers on a self-contained mystery. Missing people, forbidden cults, eldritch horrors, and inhuman conspiracies, while slowly revealing deeper truths about the world, its gods, and its ancient curses. You will always find the core clues needed to solve a mystery, but acquiring them safely is never guaranteed. Extra clues exist for those willing to take risks, explore forbidden places, or make dangerous deals. The real question is, what will you do with the truth once you uncover it? Whether you are an experienced D&D 5e player or new to the hobby, all are welcome to partake in this campaign mainly inspired by X-files, Buffy and Innistrad. I have more than a decade of experience teaching TTRPGs and I am always willing to work together to be as inclusive as possible. We'll stablish preferences of lines, veils and consent before starting the campaign. You only need a mic, a discord account, a (free) forge account and a browser capable of running Foundry VTT. Creating your character
The characters will start at level one. We will create them at session 0. You can use whatever character creation method you're the most comfortable with. All character options published in official books are available to choose from, but homebrew content must be approved by me. I'm happy to help creating your character in any way you need!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A discord account, a free forge vtt account, an OK microphone (as long as everyone can understand you it's all good), and a browser capable of running foundry VTT (chrome, Firefox, edge etc.). Everything else will be provided.
