The Duchess’ League is set in Bournnet, the glittering capital of De’Claire, where pageantry and competition are indistinguishable from politics. Each year, for Duchess Isabella’s birthday, the city gathers for a single legendary spectacle: a day of public games held in a colossal arena, with prestige and prizes on the line. This year, you get the chance to enter not as spectators, but as participant measured against the best challengers the duchy can muster. This game centered around a competion where the party will contend againts other teams in various diciplines. You can expect arena combat with shifting rules and environmental hazards, puzzles and problem-solving where time and teamwork matter, as well as sport-style competitions that reward smart movement and creative tactics. There will be light roleplay and lots of opportunity to toss dice, with room for humor and dramatic flair - and of course the chance to become champions of De’Claire. Well, at least until next year’s League begins. TL;DR A free fast paced game with a series of arena-based challenges that will put the abilities of the party to the test; both individually and as a team.
