About the adventure
In the small town of Hillview, teenage hoverboarders sneak into other dimensions to explore, film tricks, go viral, and get away from the problems at home. It’s dangerous. It’s stupid. It’s got parent groups in a panic. And it’s the coolest thing ever. Who are you going to be? A sassy rich kid with a pair of modified time-skipping Scram Cat® sneakers? A chill loser with a lovable robot sidekick? An ultra-dimensional princess with a hoverboard made from pure light? What are you going to do? Will you blow off school and sesh the abandoned mall in Vastiche? Get the Miper sponsorship by speed-running Prismatia? Salvage power crystals from the mossy decommissioned gundam in The Golden Jungle? Sneak into the hottest party in Operaeblum? But be careful! Make sure you get home before the demiplane melts, or the bloodwhip swarm sucks your marrow out, or your mom finds out where you've been and sends you away to a camp for troubled youths.

About me
I've been obsessed with RPGs since I was in middle school and my friend handed me the D&D 4e handbook. I've been playing RPGs off and on through various one-shots and mini-campaigns since high school. Those early years my DMing career consisted mostly of my brother and I messing around in one-on-one sessions. Things really started kicking off for me in college, where I ran and played in multiple campaigns. I ran Star Wars FFG, Legend of the Five Rings FFG and The Expanse campaigns throughout my college years. It was also around this time that I started learning and performing Improv, which hugely impacted how I ran and played the game, as well as shaped me as a storyteller. Nowadays, it's been harder for me to run games as much as I want to with work and distance, but that hasn't stopped me from engaging with the hobby or running one-shots here and there. I generally enjoy a lot of narrative and roleplay, with a healthy dose of combat, and lately my goals for DMing include improving my combat encounters. Join my games if you want something other than D&D5e! My favorite systems right now include: Mothership, Root, Star Wars FFG, Hometown Holiday and Draw Steel!

Creating your character
Character and Crew creation is one of the most fun parts of Slugblaster! We'll be spending a Session 0 running through character and crew creation together. The actual mechanics of doing so are very straightforward, so we'll be spending most of this time collaboratively workshopping our characters personalities, crew history, relationships, etc.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a webcam and to friend me on discord (PentaPo#5614)and some d6s!
What PentaPo brings to the table
I'm a very laid back and collaborative GM. Everything in Slugblaster will be theater of the mind. I do have fun doing silly voices and playing characters well, but what I'll be focused most of all on during play is creating a compelling coming of age drama for your characters. Players are free to come to me and make suggestions or work directly with me to make sure their teenage story is as satisfying and dramatic as can be!
