About the adventure

Knightfall runs on Knave 2e as an homage to Dark Fantasy Manga, you guys will be playing as regular humans in such a world, where your wits, cunning and tools at your disposal are invaluable for your survival. New Players: Players that are either new to Knave 2e, the OSR playstyle or TTRPG as a whole are welcome and a certain grace will be delivered for them, other players are welcome to help them play trough as well. Character Creation: Will be discussed trough Discord Voice chat. Basics: The game is simple and easy it rewards player creativity and what your character can do is not found on the character sheet. It is a deadlier campaign than 5e and I don't promise all of you will come out alive, that said environments will be as much detailed as possible as to make you aware of your surroundings, we are talking about all five sense. Example: "You find yourself in a dark corridor with little light openings in it's ceiling casting dim light. The walls made of cobblestone, humid to the touch and with bioluminescent fungi growing underneath, air here is heavier to breath and faint smell of rotten eggs becomes more evident as you venture into the cave and your torch starts to flicker wildly." The players can then ask for further information if they want to know something specific about there environment weather it was mentioned or not and I will answer as truthfully to what your character can normally perceive.

About me

> Experience: 7 years playing 5e > Anime Like Style: I use anime troupes and artwork to give a more cute, likable and/or familiar look to my campaings. > Campaign Focus: it depends on the party’s desires I will focus on either Roleplaying or Combat, their will always a small bit of the other though. > Sourcebooks: I allow all Sourcebook material from Player’s Handbook to Dragonlance, I only permit D&D one, Kickstarters, UA or homebrew that have passed prior inspection. I might not allow certain material due to setting reasons but those cases are specific cases. > Gelatinous Noob Friendly: I encourage new players and teach them the ropes around and even make or help making characters for them. Please refer to my Terms of Service for the official rules and to House rules for a list of all my personal Homebrew of the game. “Your character sheets will make a fine addition to my collection, muahahahaha!” - Smug the Dwagon

Character creation

Creating your character

Character Creation will be discussed prior to session, I will dedicate the first 30 minutes with the players before starting the one shot. Character creation usually takes no more than 10 minutes so there should be more than enough time for all players to complete their characters.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need: - Discord Account - A Good Microphone (Required) - Decent Internet connection The GM uses a Discord Server as the main Hub for my games and Owlbear Rodeo for maps and visuals.

What Geode The Dwarf brings to the table

Initiative is decided by the GM or a roll of a 1d6 per each side, both players and monsters (ties all characters attack at the same time). Turn: The GM uses group initiative all players go at the same turn, if there is a player that is not ready i will go over another player until the previous one is ready. On the players turn the GM will ask all players their actions for the turn, 1 action and 1 movement per turn. Once that is settled all players wait for the signal for the GM to roll attacks, spells and damage. The GM uses ambience music, if players don't feel comfortable with doing voices that's completely fine it is not required

Homebrew rules

There are not homebrew rules, the GM will go by a case by case scenario for one shots, but ultimately the GM will have the last call on the rulings in case of confusion or stagnation regardless of what the rules may state.
