About the adventure

Lost Mine of Phandelver is a classic fantasy adventure set on the rugged frontier of the Sword Coast, where ruined keeps, lawless roads, and half-forgotten legends sit just beyond the edge of civilization. The story begins in the quiet mining town of Phandalin, a place struggling to survive in a dangerous region filled with goblin tribes, bandit gangs, and darker powers lurking in the wild. What starts as a simple job soon uncovers a secret tied to an ancient forge capable of creating weapons of immense power. This game blends mystery, exploration, and tactical combat with strong roleplay opportunities and meaningful character choices. You’ll investigate strange ruins, negotiate with dangerous factions, uncover lost histories, and fight to protect or exploit the secrets buried beneath the land. The tone is adventurous with a touch of danger and intrigue: heroic, but grounded, where your decisions shape the fate of the region and the people who live there. The campaign is ideal for new players and veterans alike. New players will find clear goals, memorable NPCs, and a forgiving learning curve, while experienced players can dig into layered storylines, moral dilemmas, and expanded lore woven into the original module. I run a welcoming table that focuses on clear communication, creative problem-solving, and cinematic moments without rules bloat or pressure.

About me

Hello hello! If you are here then you might be thinking of playing one in one of my games. I really appreciate your consideration so why don't I tell you a bit about myself? My name is Originalname but my friends call me Ori or Original. I have been playing D&D and other tabletop rpgs for 5 years while I have been Dming for 4 years, I pride myself on the fact that all my players have had fun in my campaigns, be it because the tone and atmosphere were really engaging or just because we have had a lot of fun due to the myriad of shenanigans the players are able to pull. I love dming and I have dmed for both newcomers and veterans from the Advanced Dungeon & Dragons era, I like to think that it's never late to learn how to play D&D while I also enjoy challenging both the dice andingenuity of my players. If you are paying for Dming services, you should be getting the best of the best and that's why i will give it my all to make every session special and fun for my players.

All that you need is to have a good microphone , discord account and to join the discord sever to be ready.

What Originalname brings to the table

I provide a structured, immersive game experience that balances strong narrative with clear, tactical play. Sessions are run with atmosphere and pacing in mind, using ambient music, soundscapes, and scene framing to keep tension high and downtime focused. Important NPCs have distinct voices and mannerisms, not for comedy, but to make the world feel alive and consistent. Combat is meaningful and dangerous, but not punishing. Fights are tactical, with enemies that use terrain, morale, and simple strategies rather than standing still and trading hits. I favor clear rulings, fast turns, and cinematic descriptions so battles feel dynamic instead of slow. When a clever idea fits the moment, I lean toward the Rule of Cool, but I stay close enough to Rules as Written that players always understand what their characters can realistically do. Roleplay is player-driven. You are never forced to act in character, but the world will always respond to your choices. NPCs remember what you do, factions shift, and consequences carry forward. The story adapts to the party, not the other way around, and I make sure each character has space to matter.

Safety

How Originalname creates a safe table

I prioritize a table that is safe, respectful, and low-pressure, so everyone can focus on enjoying the story. Before the campaign begins, I go over expectations, tone, boundaries, and play style during Session 0, and I make it clear that player comfort always comes before the game. If something ever feels off, you never need to justify yourself—your comfort is enough. At the table, I use safety cards (X, N, and O) that players can hold up at any time, no explanation required. An X means stop or change the scene immediately, N means steer away or fade to black, and O means everything is okay. I also encourage short breaks whenever needed, whether for emotional reset, focus, or just to breathe. After intense or heavy scenes, I check in with the group and make space to decompress before moving on. I keep the tone collaborative and judgment-free, and I am always open to private messages if someone would rather not speak up in front of the table. My goal is for everyone to feel safe, heard, and excited to return to the game each session.
