About the adventure
2024 rules only. Please see the 2024 player handbook. Level 1 start The guild awaits adventurers. Hero's who are seeking to make a name for themselves. A fully fleshed out adventures guild, with a fully built, contract and rank system. Guild members and legends to meet. Pursue the main story or do guild contracts. You decide The beloved beginner adventure has been reimagined for new players. New chapters, more story, more twists and turns and more roleplaying. That's what you would think. But what if I said the skeleton of the adventure is there but like a necromancer I have put on flesh from a different beast on that skeleton. Sure you will see some of the usual faces but with new opportunities and paths to explore. It might sound a little overwhelming but fret not, this is designed in a way to make it accessible for old and new players. Even if this is your first DND game ever, you will not be overwhelmed. I welcome all to my table no matter your skill level or who you are. Fun should be shared with everyone. Inclusivity allows fun. In fact if you are a new player I welcome you the table. Stay and be proud of what you are about to achieve. Roleplay and Combat are two faces of the same coin. Both are important but not necessary. Fight if you want, run if you want. But the dice will decide that. One thing needs to be made clear. Respect each other. This is everyone's game not just yours. You are a party, trying go edgy boy solo usually results in death, be warned.

About me
I have been playing and GMing for 6 years. I am huge fan of DnD and everything that comes with it. I usually play official books but add and change many things. I am very spontaneous and also love when my players are spontaneous. Immersion is key to having fun and Fun is always important. I have now been transitioning to play the 2024 rule sets but 2014 will always have a special place in my heart. I myself am a fighter through and through. Nothing beats a critical on 19 and saving your friends on the frontline.

Creating your character
DND 2024 character creation rules only. A free character creation session will take place on discord, we will create the characters together in Foundry. I might ask you all to prepare some aspects on your own, for example a backstory or character portrait. But the rest we will make together. We will start at level 1. We will roll for stats during the character creation day

What to expect
Preparing for the session
I need everyone to have discord and a mic. Cameras are not required but that choice is yours. Google chrome or firefox is needed. This game can only be played on a PC or Laptop. It is not compatible with tablets or phones
What Ali brings to the table
Fun comes first. I do all voices (some great and some not some real bad) and have ambient and combat music. The rule book is cool but there will be many opportunity to shine like MC you all are. Every scenario can be talked out of, if you roll high enough that is. Combat is thematic with a lot of RP opportunities. Remember rolling initiative does not always mean combat. Roleplaying is key to immersion and immersion key to roleplaying. I will have the PHB 2024 available for you to reference anytime when we play.

We will stick to the 2024 rules 99% of the time. But sometimes rule of cool might bend them a little

How Ali creates a safe table
The ground rules will be made clear in session 0 and they are ironclad. No SA content no matter what. You will see death and destruction but always respectfully. No butchering because you can. PVP must make sense if it ever takes place, a very good reason needs to be give, even then the other player has every right to decline. Just DM me and run the idea by me, I might have an alternative way to achieve what you want with out disturbing the table. Unless what you are suggesting is so stupendously amazingly cool. Then a discussion will take place and all players must unanimously decide, the rules might bend a little but they don't fold. If there are any issues come to me directly and we will take care of it swiftly. You can message me anytime during the week.
