About the adventure
Hello and welcome to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4e. This will be a bi-weekly game that will use various official content including one-shots, solo adventures, and perhaps a longer campaign. Having some sort of knowledge of the setting and system is helpful, but not required, new players are welcome.

About me
I've been DMing and playing for 30+ years. The first game I ever learned to play was a gamed called Bushido, and the first system I learned to run was L5R 1e, followed by AD&D 2e. I continued through with 3e and while I have ran multiple other systems, D&D was always my "home" system. I want to provide as much visual and audio immersion as I can, but I'm not an artistic person. VTT's are perfect for me to provide the kind of visual experience I want and I have found that Foundry has been the best suited to do so for me thus far. I came to enjoy running Pathfinder 2e a lot a few years ago. I stepped away from it and chose to run 5e out of convenience and at the time, my group wasn't enjoying PF2e. I've recently come back to it, and it's been a blast. It is now my primary system, and I am also enjoying working with the Starfinder 2e playtest material.

Foundry has a module that automates making a character and we will do that together.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
all that is needed is a discord account for voice chat as well as general communication. I host the games myself so anything like a Forge account is not needed.
What Hellequin brings to the table
I will provide all of the game content needed to play, maps, tokens, and audio. Upon request, i can also get you pdfs of various books if you want to read up on rules and lore between sessions.

How Hellequin creates a safe table
Warhammer, much like any Grimdark setting, has many dark themes. Mutations, corruption, violence, dark magic, etc. My expectations are, if you are looking to play this setting that you are mature and can handle these concepts. If these are topics that you aren't comfortable with, this table is not for you. That being said, no major topics like racism, rape, etc will ever be in any game I run.
