What Peter Sapperlot brings to the table

This tutorial will provide you with a first impression of how it feels to play D&D. You’ll explore your first dungeon and get to know the basic rules. Most importantly, you’ll experience how easy it is to to have fun playing Dungeons and Dragons. I am an expert at explaining game rules. I’ve introduced way over a hundred people to new roleplaying systems at dozens of public events. I am a Dungeon Master at conventions, at festivals and at trade expos. Usually, people are unfamiliar with the game system we are playing. And I get them into character in no time!

Safety

How Peter Sapperlot creates a safe table

INCLUSION My tables are a welcoming space for all identities. There is one exception though: People who want to act out their fantasies of racism or sexism are not welcome. Everybody else? You are welcome here! LGBTQ+? You are welcome! POCs? You are welcome! I'll do my best to provide a safe space in an online world that is often dark and full of terrors. SAFETY TOOLS I maintain an Open Door Policy. There won’t be any hard feelings or explanations needed, should you need to step away from the table – temporarily or permanently. Furthermore, Alchemy offers an X-card feature. Leaving is a measure of last resort. Preferably, players use the X-card to indicate when something in the narrative makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Finally, the concept of Lines&Veils refers to a brief conversation at the start of the game about contents or concepts you do not wish to encounter during the session.
