About the adventure
In an age of advanced machinery, refined magiccraft, and the steady decline of belief, very little remains from the divine and legendary eras. Many ancient relics have lost any true power they once possessed, yet even the most insignificant fragment of the past is worth its weight in gold. As a result, the raiding of forgotten tombs and ruined sanctuaries has become more profitable than ever before, drawing adventurers, scholars, and mercenaries alike into the depths of history. You are among the most capable tomb raiders of this age, known for both skill and discretion. Recently, you have been hired to clear monsters from a newly excavated site: an ancient underground church, sealed away for centuries. According to the records, only a handful of undead linger within its halls. Nothing especially dangerous, nothing you have not faced before. Once the excavation is complete, the reward is simple. You may claim anything you find that is valuable, rare, or merely interesting. Relics, texts, artifacts, all are yours to keep. The task seems routine, almost dull in its simplicity. Still, as you descend into the cold stone corridors and breathe the stale air of sealed chambers, unease settles in. What could possibly go wrong? --------------------------------------------------------- This game is heavily inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. It is a dungeon crawl in which you explore the depths of an ancient megastructure so vast that it overshadows even the largest modern buildings. The overall world is a mix of steampunk and fantasy, containing numerous secret societies hidden within it.

View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Technical parts: I use the 2014 ruleset. Characters start at level 3, with the possibility of advancing to level 5 or 6. You may choose any race from official books, except plasmoids. No homebrew classes, races, or feats are allowed. Roleplay parts: Please assign your character one of the sins from The Divine Comedy. This sin will play an important role in the game. You may create a backstory for your character, but it is not a necesity. I will provide help with character creation during Session Zero and at any time before the game begins via Discord. I will also provide handouts if needed.
