About the adventure
Once upon a time there was a strange and magical carnival that only appeared once every eight years. It came from a land of old magic, both bizarre and powerful. This is where your story begins. If you answer this call to adventure, you'll experience the life of the carnival and perhaps a whole new realm to explore. However, danger lies ahead, the Witchlight Carnival is in trouble and so are you. Go on a journey, find what was lost, and perhaps even become one of the heroes of this story.

Hello all, my name is Ashlee. Welcome to my little corner of the internet. Please, take a seat, I'd love to have you at my table. I've heated up some coffee and mulled cider, whichever you'd prefer, as you settle in for your next escapade through Faerûn. Here's a little more about me before you set off on your adventure, I've been playing D&D for three years and have been running my own campaigns for a year with friends. However, even before that, I've been using my creativity to write books, poems, and plays. D&D was the natural next platform for me to use as an outlet. A couple fun facts about me is that I love to travel, hike, and try new foods and drinks with friends. How Ashlee creates a safe table
I will be providing a link to a brief anonymous survey once a group is formed to be filled out before a session zero for any preferences that you would like to happen in game or to avoid in game as well as a brief questionnaire to ensure that all player types are welcome and compatible with one another before we even get to session zero. After the survey is filled out, we will have a Session Zero to introduce the game and the basics, create characters, reiterate inclusivity, learn about each other, and talk about what the group is comfortable with. Players must be 18+ to play and must treat others with respect. This campaign is an inclusive place. To keep this campaign inclusive and the players safe, I have a zero tolerance policy towards discrimination of any kind. As the DM, I reserve the right to expel players who are disrespectful of others or disruptive of the game. Otherwise, everyone is welcome to play and enjoy!
