About me
Old school DnD GM. Over 40 years of experience, mostly face-to-face but also several online long-term (1+ year) campaigns. Creative homebrew campaigns with imagination, interesting challenges, villains, rewards, plot-twists, with the goal of enjoyment for everyone! Looking for mature players who seek a traditional old-school game using the more traditional official races and classes rather than robot unicorns with guns and psionics. if you are looking to play an exotic character, we can possibly discuss some options. Roleplaying strongly encouraged. Min/max spotlight hogging discouraged (let's work together and let everyone shine and have fun). Reasonable 'rule of cool' playstyle rather than strict RAW 'rule police' style of game. Long term campaigns starting at level 1 and working up towards 20. Expect levels 1-3 to level up fast, then levels 4+ to slow down a bit. Good balance of roleplaying, combat and exploration. There will be some puzzles, but more of a campaign plot style rather than fiddly traps and levers and number/word games. If this style interests you then get your game on and join!

What Ronnor brings to the table
I bring over 40 years of DMing experience to the table — decades of storytelling, worldbuilding, and improvisation honed across every edition of D&D. My goal is to create a living, breathing world that reacts to player choices, rewards creativity, and feels genuinely alive. Storytelling & Roleplay Expect deep immersion, memorable NPCs, and a world that changes because of your actions. I use distinct character voices, immersive narration, and reactive dialogue to make every interaction feel personal. You’ll meet scheming nobles, haunted explorers, eccentric sailors, and strange beings older than history. Your backstories aren’t just filler — they become the threads that shape Gravenreach’s fate. Whether you’re chasing redemption, power, or freedom, the world will respond to you. Combat & Challenge Combat in this campaign is tactical, tense, and cinematic. I balance realism with flow — Rules as Written where it matters, Rule of Cool when it enhances the story. Expect meaningful fights, environmental hazards, and the occasional moral dilemma about when not to draw your blade. Encounters are designed for smart play, teamwork, and creativity — not just dice rolls. Expect battles on storm-tossed ships, in ruined citadels, and against creatures that defy logic. Exploration & Consequence This campaign is built around player-driven exploration and survival in a hostile frontier. You’ll chart coastlines, uncover ruins, forge alliances, and decide whether your expedition serves its patron — or defies them. Every session pushes the story forward: new discoveries, new dangers, and new choices that reshape the world. Choices have weight — what you do in Session 2 may echo back in Session 20.
