About the adventure

Evil schemes are afoot in Cauldron, a metropolis of merchants built into the caldera of a long-dormant volcano. To foil the agenda of evil cultists, your band of adventurers must brave haunted jungle ruins, slay mighty dragons, and bind themselves to a layer of the infinite Abyss. Will their swords and spells be enough to save the Shackled City? Originally published as 11 linked adventures in the award-winning Dungeon magazine, the Shackled City Adventure Path is the most ambitious official Dungeons & Dragons campaign ever created. The hardbacked version of the Adventure Path adds an additional chapter. We will play through all 12 chapters, taking the PCs from 1st level to 20th level! This is a fantastic campaign with some of the best dungeon crawls ever!

About me

Greetings! My name is Allan and I have been playing D&D since 1978. The game is my passion. I have played nearly all revisions of the game from original AD&D to 5e, although I skipped 4e and started playing Pathfinder. I run pre-generated modules, but I prefer custom campaigns. Most of my experience has been of the traditional face-to-face weekly meeting variety, and over the last two years I have been developing a new VTT called Keep It Lit. I write software and design electronics for a living. I think the VTT tech is great, but I am a strong believer in keeping it simple so it does not interfere with the story and player emersion.

What DM Allan brings to the table

The DM will use NPC voices, tactical combat, and attempt to stay true to the rules publiched for Pathfinder 1e. Maintaining excitement and game pace are very important. Therefore, the DM may use the Rule of Cool at any time and make spot rulings if rules debates slow down the game play.
