About the adventure

There is a legend in the Feylond that those who survive the attack of a wolf are doomed to take its form each full moon. They say that hunger and rage drive these poor unfortunates while the moon shines full upon the land. The party must fulfil their promise to the ghost of an old woman by finding a cure for her two grandsons before the next full moon turns them into killers once more. Inspired by European folklore and fairy tales, this adventure is by turns both dark and whimsical. This adventure for Fantasy AGE is suitable for veteran and novice players alike. The Age system is quick to learn as you play, but offers nuanced and interesting combat, role-playing and exploration.

About me

I have been a Games Master since the mid-1980s, during which time I have run numerous different RPGs and rule systems. I like systems that are smooth, quick to learn, and easy to play while still feeling polished and fleshed out. I have written RPG material professionally for the AGE Creator's Alliance, Frightshow Classics and my own indi RPG company "Gethsemane Games". My games aim to promote a sense of wonder in fantasy and run the gamut from whimsical to dark often drawing on European folklore and Fairytail elements to imerse my players in fantastic adventures they will remember for years to come.

Character creation

Creating your character

Players have several options as far as characters are concerned. You may use one of the pre-generated characters provided for this game, use a character you have created yourself or contact the GM before the game to arrange a time for me to help you create a character for the game. Characters should be 2nd level and created using the Fantasy AGE core rules.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

This game will be played on the Roll20 VTT, so players will require a Roll20 account (the free version will suffice). You can find the Roll 20 Game Room here: https://app.roll20.net/join/20915817/HnlppQ We will be using Discord for voice chat, so you will also need a Discord account. Again, the free version will do. The invite to the Discord server is: rHrrfBa

What Bryan F Irving brings to the table

I will bring my 40 years of experience as a GM to the table, along with my extensive knowledge of the AGE system. I will be using the 2nd Edition ("Core") rules of Fantasy AGE alongside the Age Beastiary, and characters will be stored in interactive AGE character sheets, which will allow you to concentrate on role-playing and making decisions while the character sheet does the maths for you. As a GM, I will let players guide much of the play, allowing creative freedom in how you overcome the challenges you will face in the Feylond. My decisions and rulings will be fair, based on the principle of rules as intended, and I will listen to the players. I have a Pro Roll20 account and will be using many of its special features.
