About the adventure

This campaign is set within a shared world where every action carries weight, and the consequences of your choices ripple across other campaigns. You will begin in the lands of the Human Empire—young, ambitious, and forged from the fires of a newly risen nation. Your actions will determine its future. The Empire’s growing guild calls for new blood—bold adventurers who will brave the unknown, clear untamed lands, and pave the way for civilization to rise. Though corruption is still rare in the city, the birth of new kingdoms always draws darkness. Criminals and opportunists from across the world are already drawn to the promise of power. Will you serve the king and uphold the throne, or stand with the people and forge a brighter world from the shadows? Rise through the ranks, earn your glory, and perhaps one day you will be strong enough to confront the ancient darkness that festers in the cursed lands.

About me

Hello everyone! I am Dm Tolis and I've been dming/playing TTPRGs (DND 5e, Pathfinder 1&2e, Vampire, Hunter, Geist to name a few) for 13 years. I’ve recently decided to move on with an online platform to meet new players, guide them through old and new adventures, and witness how they interact with and leave an impact on the stories. I might be new to using Foundry (my preferred method of online DMing), but I am comfortable in my knowledge of it and can safely ensure my players can adapt to this virtual tabletop. For now, I’ve run a few one shots with close friends to ensure everything runs smoothly, whether in Greek or English language. If you are up for a game full of roleplaying, unique and gritty battles, intricate plots and vibrant worlds feel free to join me in an upcoming adventure. There’s always room for everyone, whether a new eager adventurer or a grizzled returning veteran, and I always strive to provide a safe environment in my sessions where everyone can enjoy themselves.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will discuss character creation in more detail during Session 0. For now, please note that all players will start at level 1. All player options from official 5e books are available. Characters will be created on D&D Beyond to allow for easier transfer to Foundry VTT.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Once you join the game, I will invite you to a Discord server where we can discuss further details and what you need to do. We use Foundry as our VTT, and you will need at least a PC and a microphone to participate.

What Dm Tolis brings to the table

I’m a fan of the “rule of cool,” so as long as it makes sense, creative and exciting ideas are highly encouraged. There will be plenty of challenging combats where clever player strategies can give you an advantage. I also homebrew a lot of content, so be prepared.

How Dm Tolis creates a safe table

We will discuss everyone’s “yes” and “no” boundaries, and there will be a short break during the game to let off steam and take care of personal needs.
