About the adventure
Exiled from your own universes, you are the only team of heroes with the knowledge and abilities required to protect the Multiverse. You risk life and limb to save people and worlds you didn't know existed the day before, and most people will never recognize your sacrifices. But doing good is its own reward. Plus, traveling the Multiverse is a lot of fun! - Travel the Marvel Multiverse, visiting new worlds and exploring "What If?" scenarios - Form strong bonds with your team of heroes - See familiar characters in new circumstances; you may help people you know as villains while fighting enemies you know as heroes _______________________________________ This game is for fans of Marvel's What-If, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Marvel fanfiction, and/or that old show Sliders, but really, fans of anything Marvel are welcome - although you certainly don't need to be an expert on the franchise.

About me
I'm a writer, and I have plenty of ideas for potential stories to tell and worlds to explore. TTRPGs are an excellent storytelling tool, and they've been one of my (#actuallyautistic) special interests for about as long as Critical Role has been a thing. I've run a couple D&D campaigns for friends, and I'm also a big fan of Masks, Monster of the Week, City of Mist, Marvel Multiverse RPG, and other story games.

Creating your character
The Exiles include alternate-universe variants of popular canon characters as well as new characters. For this game, you can go either way. Players can use the Core Rulebook and the X-Men Expansion for their characters, powers, traits, etc. Details about making a character that fits well on the Exiles will be discussed at Session Zero. Characters will start at Rank 2, 3, or 4. At Session Zero, we'll go over character creation with anyone who is new to the game. If you already have a character idea in mind, tell the group about it on Discord ahead of the game - it's good to have a variety of characters on the team. The game is Theater-of-the-Mind. Players will send copies of their character sheets to the GM for him to keep track of things.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll use Discord for communication and voice calls during sessions. We'll also use the website d616.ruleplaying.com for rolling virtual dice in the Marvel Multiverse system. Other than that, the game is Theater-of-the-Mind.
What Noah brings to the table
I can provide Character Sheet Templates for players who need them to track their stuff. I can also provide copies of the Core Rulebook and the X-Men Expansion. As a GM, I usually know the rules well, but I embrace the Rule of Cool and encourage player creativity. This game is Theater-of-the-Mind; this includes imagining the environment instead of using battle maps or grids for combat. Combined with the Rule of Cool, this makes for epic superhero action scenes.
Homebrew rules
The X-Men Expansion provides some fun variant rules, including one for levelling up characters called Schooling Advancement and one for Reputation. We'll discuss these at Session Zero.

How Noah creates a safe table
A Safety First document will be provided, including a list of Lines and Veils for players to add to. We'll also play with the X-card. These tools will be discussed during Session Zero. The plan is to provide time at the end of each session for discussion about what we enjoyed as well as low points.
