About the adventure
This is a play-by-post light campaign. Each week a new "scenario" is submitted for the group to solve by choosing the right mix of heroes to send off to save the day! You will act as a council member of the Vanguard, a powerful organization that oversees a roster of adventurers. The realm sends the council requests for heroes, and you and the other players need to figure out who are the right heroes for the job. The scenario will have clues and details about who or what the monster or threat might be. You and the other players can debate, research and try to figure out from the clues provided what the threat is, and what heroes would be the best fit for that monster or threat! You're free to use whatever meta knowledge you have or even go into a deep dive in some ancient wiki. Each week opens up with a scenario being posted, and at the end of the week a form opens up where each player can submit their own vote. Then we tally the votes, with whichever combo of heroes that gets the most votes wins and is sent off to face the threat. In the form, you can also guess what you think the monster or threat is! For every player who gets this right, the party gets a bonus! Then the next week it is revealed what happened to the heroes! Did they come back successful in slaying the monster or did they fail and run away, outmatched by the foe. This game is played weekly, but billed monthly. There are new scenarios every other week. Additionally, every time the council successfully completes a scenario or guesses the threat, we do a giveaway for some of the cool merch that Total Party Chill has been sent for reviews or unboxings!

Creating your character
You will not need to make a traditional character. Instead you get to imagine yourself as part of a council who decide on what heroes to send out against different threats. Some folks in the group have adopted a councilperson persona.
