About the adventure
You want to go home. You want a cheeseburger, a coke, and large fries…Monday Night Football with Al Michaels…or at least a damn cold beer. But you’re in Poland after WW 3 and everywhere you look is devastation and ruin. Cities are now rubble. Starving civilians, desperate for a sip of water, claw with outstretched arms for your canteen. And over the next hill or around the next corner, the Reds are waiting to gun you down and hang your corpse on a pole. The nukes didn’t destroy the world, but what’s left is wrecked. What’s it gonna take to get home? Rumor has it that command is offering a Blackhawk ride out of this hellhole to any company that can take out the Red Basilisk. What’s that you ask? The nastiest, deadliest, most elusive mobile missile launcher from the war. So, grab your pair and head up there, wherever ‘there’ is, and get this job done. Apple pie and ice cream are just one mission away for you and Bravo Company. Bravo Company: Red Basilisk is an open-world, custom campaign set in the alternate history of the Twilight 2000 roleplaying game. But there is no pre-written story. In this game your character’s actions, goals, and moral code will determine the course of events. Open to all experience levels, I’ll work with players before we start to get everyone ready for the first session and beyond. I run a storytelling-focused game where we share narrative control and build a unique experience together.

What Your GM Chandler brings to the table
Please come with a collaborative spirit and bring your imagination. I'm looking for players who can share the spotlight but also can clearly lead at times and be in the spotlight. This is a storytelling game. I will ask you to narrate at times. For example: you are surprised by bandits while scavenging a gas station, you roll well to deal with them and I say "Nice roll, tell us how you dispatch them." You then describe in detail what you do, including as much vivid detail as your imagination allows. Prepare to LEAN into your survivor and their big dreams, needs and moral code. The more you bring to your character, there more there is for everyone to play off and the greater impact there will be on the world. Conflicts will arise and I will arbitrate them carefully, ensuring all players feel safe and free to really roleplay. Each session will begin with a personal check-in where I go 'around the table' and see how each person is feeling, if anything major is going on at the time, me included. This way we get to know one another and build a community that encircles our game.

How Your GM Chandler creates a safe table
Before we even meet, I will have each player complete a filter using the Deck of Player Safety. https://app.demiplane.com/dops Then we'll review it together at the start of session zero. This will make sure everyone knows our boundaries and it's done anonymously. Then during the game there is an X-card feature players can use to anonymously let everyone know the current scene is pushing a boundary. I will then fade the scene to black and move us along. I am open to other suggestions and tools as well.
