LIVE FREE OR ROLL THE DIE HARD Baldur’s Gate is having the kind of night that makes bards write cautionary ballads and insurance agents retire early. The city’s entire arcane backbone collapses in a single, catastrophic blackout — wards sputter out, spell lanterns die mid‑glow, and half the Upper City starts heading for the gates. In the middle of the chaos, you and your fellow adventurers get drafted into the worst escort mission of your lives: protect the one person who actually understands what’s happening while the rest of the city enthusiastically falls apart around you. Bridges destabilize, constructs go rogue, mercenaries show up with suspiciously expensive gear, and the Weave itself starts behaving like it’s had one too many drinks. You’ll sprint through collapsing districts, improvise solutions to problems that absolutely should not exist, and dive headfirst into a conspiracy so reckless it makes Baldur’s Gate’s usual crime rate look adorable. Every step brings you closer to the truth buried beneath the city, and to the person trying very hard to rewrite reality in the most dramatic way possible. What DocApocalypse brings to the table
We will be playing a mostly RaW game with plenty of opportunities for Rule of Cool, and humor, there will also be plenty of music and maps throughout the one-shot.
Homebrew rules
We will be using a blend of 2014/2024 rules, drinking or administering a potion is a Bonus Action, we also will be using Inspirations, Heroic Inspirations and Luck Points in the game.
