About the adventure
Fifteen years have passed since the fall of Drakkenheim. Its corpse lies at the centre of the realm, ringed by factions who swear that, with the right tools, they can control the delerium, destroy it, or seal it away. They all believe the city can be saved. As far as you know, they are wrong. But that has never stopped anyone from trying. You are drawn—by duty, ambition, faith, or desperation—into the fallen city, tasked with reclaiming what can be wrested from the monsters that now stalk its streets, and rescuing whatever survivors or knowledge might yet endure. You know what it means to enter the Haze. It will mark you. It will weigh on your soul. And still, for your own reasons, you step inside the city walls and face the horrors within. What kind of fate will you bring to Drakkenheim? *** This is a Daggerheart Play-by-Post adventure using the Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign frame, but with the homebrewed story. Delve into a corrupted city, battle monstrous foes, endure the creeping influence of delerium, and shape the destiny of a fallen capital. Beginning at Level 1, this campaign is well suited both for newcomers to Daggerheart and for veterans seeking a dark, character-driven experience. Creating your character
All characters will be created via Demiplane. Before creating your characters, please wait for Session 0, as Dungeons of Drakkenheim has some unique aspects to how some ancestries, classes, and communities work.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will receive a Discord invite link, and the game will be played via Foundry. You will need a Forge (https://forge-vtt.com/) account to join the table. You will also need an account on Demiplane (https://app.demiplane.com/) to create you chracters.
