About the adventure
"Just up there—behind that outcropping. I can feel them from here." You lower yourself into the brush next to this radiant being, and can't help but wonder at the purpose of this subterfuge. Her dented and battered armor scatters light—even this sunlight, speckled and filtered through the tree canopy above—in every direction, and the white feathered wings aren't exactly subtle. Nonetheless, you follow her gaze, and indeed see it—tucked just behind an angular boulder, the mouth of a cave impresses itself into the side of the rock face. You're not sure if you would have noticed it were it not pointed out. You volunteer to scout ahead, and light of foot cross the open ground. You peer around the boulder, and see them—just at the edge of your vision, a handful of stark white faces stand stock-still in the dark. Perfectly symmetrical, unblinking. After that run-in last night, you're still not sure what these things are. You blink as your mind returns to the present. That's when you notice it. All four hollow faces have turned in your direction. Galateya's Will is an adventure from volume I of the critically-acclaimed Uncaged adventure anthology. Every character has a story—even the monsters. Uncaged subverts the tropes of female monsters from real myth and folklore, and re-tells these stories interactively in D&D. Then come, and picture with me the following… A group of four, clad in the colors of their order and armed with weapons of the Old World. They tread with caution through the decrepit remains of a once-proud public library—best to be wary of the new librarians. Or instead, imagine this—a devil-horned man and an angel-winged woman ready their suppressed handguns, stack up on either side of a door, and nod beneath the flickering fluorescent light. The point of no return is nigh—if the gods won’t act, they’ll handle it themselves. Or picture yet again—pandemonium! The lich-king has won, and skeleton warriors run amok in the streets! There’s no stopping them now—how will you survive? These unique worlds and more await at my table. Players new and experienced alike are welcome—the only requirement is a good attitude!

Creating your character
Characters will be level 10, and completed character sheets should be brought to the game. In-depth backstories are not required for this particular game—a set of traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws ought to be enough, as long as your character is willing to work together with others. A selection of pre-made characters is also available to choose from in Roll20.
