About the adventure
*** Your time in the town of Ogashu has been punctuated by the presence of a strange duo: a awkward wildman and a halfling drunkard. You get word that they have accepted a courier job and will be leaving town soon, heading west through the desert to the distant city of Onher. For whatever reason, you wish to join them... *** This will be an ongoing sandbox campaign, with an original fleshed-out world to explore. Shadowdark is a critically-acclaimed 2023 tabletop role-playing game designed by Kelsey Dionne that blends old-school, high-lethality fantasy with modern, streamlined mechanics. It features real-time, one-hour torch mechanics, fast-paced combat, and dungeon-crawling, making it easy to learn and ideal for quick, high-tension sessions. We have two players currently, both new to Shadowdark so don't worry if you've never played before. It's an easy game to learn and I will help you through it if you need it.

Creating your character
We will catch up on Discord prior to your first session, and I will help you to create a character (don't worry, it's easy). In the meantime, come up with a character idea (there are 20 classes, so one of them is bound to fit), what they're doing in the town of Ogashu, and why they might want to join Bear and Ono on their quest.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
- Come up with a cool character idea, including what they're doing in the starting town and why they want to join the party on their quest - Create accounts for Roll20 and Discord and join the Roll20 game and the Discord server - We can organize a time to meet on Discord prior to the session to create your character - Get ready for adventure!
