About the adventure
Adventure in the swords and sorcery world that started it all! Robert E Howard's Conan setting - the Hyborian Age! First game free! Play a heroic sword-swinging barbarian, a shifty back-stabbing rogue, or a sorcerer/sorceress with dark powers that drain your life force to cast. This is a brand-new rule-set with very simple, fast-moving, action-forward rules. Fast combat - not a slog. Simple rules (about as many as Shadowdark). Pulp Action!! This game will be "west marches" style - generally we start and finish an adventure each night. Short-story style like most of REH's Conan stories. There may be some longer continuing stories as the campaign progresses. Players can join for a game, skip sessions, come back when they want! Brave barbarians, Stygian sorcerers, eldritch horrors, devious villains, decadent nobles - explore, fight, and carouse your way across the Hyborian Age!

Creating your character
You can either play a pre-generated character, or create your own (Free downloadable quickstart rules on DriveThru RPG) or I can work with you to build a character you like! Character generation in this Conan the Hyborian Age game is fast and easy. We will have a session 0/1 intro where we get characters built and/or introduced, and then launch right into an adventure! Players joining after the first game can be easily added to this episodic short-story based campaign. What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use discord for voice and I will provide pictures, maps, etc on discord chat.
What Swords and Sorcery brings to the table
I have a ton of Conan material from this game, from novels, and from other Conan games. Maps, pictures of characters and monsters and scenes. I do lots of character voices (though I don't claim to be Matt Mercer :-) ). I use a music bot to provide atmospheric music. This will be a fast-moving, action-oriented, exciting game in the mould of Conan stories and comics!

I don't have any homebrew rules for this game planned, but if we need to make one we will!
