About the adventure
This is an introductory adventure for those wanting to try a new system, but still in keeping with high fantasy. Dragonbane trades the superpowers of heroic fantasy for more grounded stats and the freedom to develop your character as you want. Combat usually only lasts 3-4 turns, and monsters are particularly deadly and unpredictable. This session will not only teach you the basics of Dragonbane (and Alchemy, if you are new) but is a full-on adventure that we should be able to get through in one or two sessions. You will choose from a selection of pre-generated characters to help you search through an ancient temple belonging to a vanquished demon cult.

I was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons in 1986 by my amazing 5th-grade English teacher, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Creating your character
Players will choose from a selection of pre-generated characters. ~ Archmaster Aodhan, an elder elemental wizard. (Human) ~ Orla Moonsilver, the steel-nerved huntress. (Elf) ~ Makander of Halfbay, the stoic, unflinching knight. (Mallard) ~ Krisanna the Bold, the agile and elusive thief. (Halfling) ~ Bastonn Bloodjaw, a master of weapons fighting. (Wolfkin)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a Discord and Alchemy free account. https://discord.com/ https://alchemyrpg.com/ Links for my server and the adventure will be sent out upon session confirmation.
What David of the North brings to the table
A detailed teaching with as many examples (where appropriate) as can be fit in, without disrupting the adventure. Rules as Written, but I welcome innovative thinking. I bring music, sounds and imagery. With an emphasis on atmosphere and mood-setting.
