About the adventure

Every night before midnight, Auril rises into the sky astride a white roc and performs her magic. Her spell appears as a radiant veil of light—a hauntingly beautiful aurora that glows across the heavens and vanishes with the coming dawn. Yet this enchantment robs the following day of true daylight: the sun never climbs above the horizon, noon becomes little more than dusk, and Icewind Dale remains locked in cold and shadow, with no warmth to thaw its snowbound land. The effort drains the Frostmaiden each time, leaving her only enough divine strength to seal the mountain passes with savage blizzards and whip the Sea of Moving Ice into violent storms. These barriers deter travel in or out of the region, deepening Icewind Dale’s isolation. As a result, the dale exists almost apart from the rest of the world—sunless while daylight continues elsewhere.

Fantasy Grounds Unity(FGU) Ultimate license - allows players with a free copy of FGU to connect and play. Maps as needed—please let me know if you have preferences for Theater of the Mind or everything on a map when you sign up. Sourcebooks and character creation materials

Homebrew rules

As someone with experience in multiple rulesets, I encourage rule of cool and try to find ways to make things work, I also allow flexibility in some spell mechanics like Green Flame Blade/Booming Blade that they work with reach weapons. Additionally if you have a character concept you want to use that does not fit directly into the published rules I work with you to find a way to fit the concept to the rules.
