About the adventure
Tyzane is normally a fun fantasy world where war is a thing of the past and people get together with friends to delve intoo9ld ruins to gain treasure and status! Your tavern is near a nexus of magical energy, and many come to the area to charge their wands and staffs before teleporting along the magical energy lines to find fortune and their future. You serve not just flavorful teas, but those that can alter what you can do, how you act, and what you like. This leads to many a fun stories about the tea tavern you and your friends run. What is not as well known is that the stories that strange gargantuan creatures have been showing up in your world is true, and it considered by most to be a rumor if they have heard of it. Unfortunately, it is happening and it would be worse if not for mysterious giant knights the size of tall trees who appear from the sky to counter the new threats. Those knights are you and your friends, who have been doing this for years, and it's exactly why you were allowed to own and run the tavern at the nexus. Those giant knights are actually magic mecha, ancient artifacts created long to stop things like that before their creation only dragons could fight. During the day you work at a tavern that sells teas and magical tisanes, as cover since no one can know you are the magical knight. The game will cozy by day, and warriors of steel by night when the titans strike. Half cozy, halfmecha battles, this game is inspired by Tea & Tomes, Aura Battler Dunbine, Orgus 2, the Trails of Cold Steel series, The Witch Atelier series and other such series.

About me
I've been running and playing games for 35+ years, and prefer cinematic and fun stories versus full on combat focus and playing RAW. I started with games like Toon and Teenage Mutant turtle and Tunnels & Trolls, moved to GURPS, Earthdawn, Legend of the Five Rings, and 7th Sea in the 90's and up to mid 00's, and then Savage Worlds, FATE, and Indie RPGS after that. You will see cats in the background if I have my camera on! They have only knocked my laptop to the ground in a single game. Can you make my cat do it again? I like to make sure everyone gets a chance for the spotlight and to focus on the things they want their character engaged in. the games I run are co-op. not PVP as the fun you are having should not take away from the enjoyment of others. I see my job both as to weave the world around the characters actions which drive where the action goes. I love a good long campaign with a lot of character progression, but I also enjoy zany one shots where what happens after this one story does not matter. I really like having the NPCs having their own lives and personalities, and breathing life into them. a specialty of mine is often creating deep and distinct NPC's in a moments notice. I am more of a lenient GM than a strict one, and for the games that it fit's the scenario and world, making sure everyone has a pun-derful time. I don't like PVP combat, and will make that expectation known upfront. I am very new player friendly.

Creating your character
We will do so during session 0 and if done after campaign start I will need to meet with the person for about 30 minutes. We will be using both the Mecha Hack and Tiny Taverns and all the expansions could be used. Any familiarity with Black Hack or Tinyd6 systems helps, but there are both rules light and option heavy, and easy to teach.
Pick a type of tea tavern role you want (ideas like servers, cooks, host, cleaning, tavern mage, magical witch brewer crowd control, etc) and some basic mecha ideas (flying big mech with lightning generator arms, speedy bladed mantis warrior, etc)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Think of a type of tea tavern worker employee you want to be and a type of Mech (magic knight) you want to make. Get a discord login.
What Emily brings to the table
I run it more Rule of Cool and will have a variety of NPCs with their own voices and mannerisms, slice of life hooks, and I will be using elective options Tiny Taverns that reinforce the funny, cozy, and no death slice of life aspects. The Mecha Hack Portion is more combat connected but clever solutions are rewarded more than just violent ones. The games will focus more on player priorities and actions in a fun, fresh fantasy world.
Homebrew rules
Will do slight alterations such as no death/wounds for Tiny Taverns, different fishing rules and trait combing.
