About the adventure
If you want to learn how to play D&D this is the place for you! I will have premade character sheets so you can jump right into things. I will also provide spell sheets with "newbie" cheat sheets I've made to ease your transition from a total newbie to an able player for the next time you play. This is a complete introduction to D&D game so new players only.

About me
I love world building and love to teach new players! I am very heavy into storytelling and roleplaying more than anything. I believe DND can be very therapeutic and I have healed through some traumas and learned so much about myself through dnd. I wish to share that experience with you. To enjoy the game and come out of it a more compassionate person. That's my goal. Creating your character
No need to worry, just tell me if you'd like to play a warrior type, assassin type, spell caster type, or support type and I can send you a pre made character sheet to refer to. I will leave the name and how you appear up to you though. This session is more for you to learn how to PLAY the game rather than create your own character. If you'd like to learn how to create your own character, check out my other "Newbie Workshop" listing!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be communicating over discord. I will send PDFs of your character sheet that you can refer to. As for a virtual tabletop, I will provide that through Roll20.
What K-Min Lim brings to the table
I like NPC interaction and love improv so you can be as creative as you'd like. I love rolling with the punches. My combats will be simple and will work like a tutorial level in a video game where I will guide you as to what you can do. I will also be providing cheat sheets you can refer to for easy reference in combat. I will stick with mostly 5e rules from both 2014 and 2025. I am semi loose with the rules, but above all I prioritize creativity so if you have an idea that sounds wacky, I'm all for it. You just have to roll for it (we'll get into what that means).
Homebrew rules
Creativity > Rules. If there's an idea you have in mind, don't be afraid to throw it out there. We can make a fair ruling whether it is possible or not or how difficult it will be to pull it off.

How K-Min Lim creates a safe table
I have a zero tolerance policy for judging others. This is a game that breeds on creativity. Judgment is the fastest way to get someone to shut down and no longer have fun. Before we begin, I like to open up the floor to any themes or subjects players want to avoid so we can avoid anyone being triggered by anything. If you'd like that to be private and for me to bring up you may also private message me on discord to let everyone else know.
