About the adventure

This world is similar to our own in most every way, although the biggest difference is actually quite small. It's Tinyfolk! Standing around 3 inches tall, these fair folk find themselves often hiding in the cracks of the world. The story that all Tinyfolk hear throughout their childhood is that of Uriel and the Great Tree. Uriel was the first Tinyfolk to ever exist and his whole life he was chased by big things that wanted him dead. He ran and ran for days and days until he was old and grey. Finally he reached a glade with the largest tree anyone or anything had ever seen. Uriel sat beneath this gargantuan tree and began to relax. He relaxed so deeply that he became one with the tree, in doing so he communed with the spirit inside this Great Tree. “The birds have wings, the bugs have armor, and the mice have numbers. I wish for my children to have their own special power.” The Great Tree heard his plea and granted his wish, thus the first true Tinyfolk came to be, born of the falling petals of this tree. Our story will take place in The Whiverbloom Wilds, a vast stretch of wilderness, nonexistent humans, a general paradise. But recently humans have been spotted cutting down trees and beginning to set up a small town at the base of the valley. In this game you’ll play as a custom race I’ve made called Tinyfolk, it gives you the ability to speak with some animals, some magic and skill options, and the ability to avoid falling damage. If this forced race choice ends up being a dealbreaker for people then I'm sure we can figure something out.

About me

I'm going to run THAT game, the one you've always wanted to play... - You're welcome Hi there! I've been the forever GM for my group of my friends in DnD 5e for a decade and I feel like I have enough experience to slightly monitize this passion of mine.(Big ups to capitalism for that :)) Whether you want high or low magic, dark or light fantasy, gritty or smooth realism, the choice is yours. Whatever you prefer, I will handle with care and grace. Homebrew is accepted if it is brought to my attention and if needed, workshopped.

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll make characters at Session 0. Characters will have to be my homebrew "Tinyfolk" race, it comes with cool stuff I promise. If this ends up being a dealbreaker for people then I'm sure we can figure something out.

How Colin creates a safe table

My door will be open at any point, if it's too uncomfortable to reach out during the session then please message me and we can absolutely pivot. Everyone deserves to have a fun time playing TTRPG's and that's exactly what I aim to do. No one's fun matters more than anyone else's.
