About the adventure

There is credible information that two and a half tons of gold coins are to be deposited into the First Maritime Bank and Trust at the end of the month. The money is purportedly going to support the flagging Laddy's Casino, a benchmark gambling den and brothel owned by a notoriously vile gangster thought to be in league with the evil Cott Empire. You have come together at the invitation of Dalton Peabody to hear...a proposal. Gathered in his plush and comfortable estate called Four Gables, you have settled into the overstuffed leather chairs to ponder what you have learned, and plan your next move. After all, you keep asking yourself, "what couldn't you do with all that gold?" Come explore Stilton Head with us as we plan a heist to start off our campaign together! Character backstories will be explored as we level up, and excitiing twists and side-quests spiral off from the main story as the timeline progresses.

About me

Our games are personalized and backstory driven, with the characters written right into the main plotline of the story. This is collaborative storytelling at its heart, and as a GM there is nothing better than seeing the PCs take a concept and run with it on their own. What you'll get from me is over forty years of experience, a detailed world fleshed out with custom maps and relatable NPCs, and an over arching plotline that will take your character's wants and needs fully into account. The world will move around you as you adventure, bringing side quests and tangential stories right along with it.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create/finalize characters during Session 0. We will be rolling for stats, rolling 4d6 and dropping the lowest, and rerolling 1's.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will get the invitations and links sent out once you decide to play the game. We use Discord for our audio/video tech, and roll20 for our virtual table top. There are lots of source materials available for making characters in roll20.

What Harlen brings to the table

This will be a collaborative storytelling effort, in a setting I have been building and fleshing out for over thirty years. We will use my Discord server, and I will run the game in roll20, with a Pro account. I don't usually use music, as most people tend to turn it right off and listen to their own, but that is negotiable.

Homebrew rules

- Stats: Roll 4d6 and drop the lowest, rerolling 1's; -- Roll 7 times and drop the lowest. - Crits are (max damage)+roll. - Reroll 1's on heals

How Harlen creates a safe table

In a nutshell; if anything makes you uncomfortable, just DM me, and it will stop. I will need no explanation, nor any justification. It will just stop.
