About the adventure
On the distant continent of Taladas in the Dragonlance world of Krynn, your story begins in the quiet frontier village of Boremium. Imperial forces have withdrawn, rumors spread, and danger once thought defeated has returned to High Vale. You are strangers drawn together at the wrong place—and the right time. When raiders of flesh and undead descend upon the village in fire and blood, you are thrust into your first true test as adventurers. Defending innocents and driving off the attackers will teach you the fundamentals of combat, teamwork, and heroism in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition. The trail leads into the haunted Darcika Woods, toward an abandoned fortress and a darker purpose behind the raid. Face sinister priests, uncover ancient secrets, and take your first steps into a larger Taladas campaign—perfect for new players and classic Dragonlance fans alike.

About me
With over 30 years of experience in tabletop roleplaying games, I bring a deep love of classic systems and immersive storytelling to every table I run. My roots are firmly planted in old-school gaming—especially AD&D—but I also actively run and enjoy modern systems, including D&D 5e (2024). I have a strong preference for rich, lore-driven settings. When using established fantasy systems, I most often run games in Dragonlance or within my own original DireLands campaign world, both of which emphasize character-driven narratives, meaningful choices, and long-term consequences. In addition to fantasy, I specialize in darker, more atmospheric campaigns. I run a fully homebrewed cosmic horror setting using the In Nomine system, inspired by World of Darkness themes and infused with elements of Clive Barker and classic monsters. These games focus on moral tension, surreal horror, and unsettling mysteries. Whether guiding epic heroes or exploring the shadows of the unknown, my goal as a Game Master is to create memorable stories, collaborative worlds, and engaging experiences for every player at the table.

What AdamPC brings to the table
I provide a welcoming, beginner-friendly table focused on helping players learn and enjoy Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition with confidence. Rules are explained clearly as they arise, pacing is steady, and guidance is always available so new players never feel overwhelmed or lost. Roleplay is encouraged but never required. I use descriptive narration, occasional character voices, and light ambient music to support immersion, while ensuring player comfort comes first. Players are free to engage at their own level, whether that means speaking in character or describing actions plainly. Combat reflects classic AD&D with clear, tactical encounters that reward teamwork and smart choices without being punishing. I generally follow Rules as Written, applying the Rule of Cool when it enhances the story or player experience, and always prioritize fairness, consistency, and a respectful table environment.
Homebrew rules
I do not require players to declare their actions prior to initiative. They can act on their turn without being penalized by events.

How AdamPC creates a safe table
All of my games are designed to be welcoming and inclusive for players of all ages and experience levels. I use the X, N, & O check-in system to ensure everyone feels comfortable with the content, and we take regular breaks for sessions longer than two hours. After each session, we follow up with a Stars and Wishes feedback check-in to hear what worked well and what could be improved. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where players can focus on story, exploration, and collaboration without worry.
