About the adventure

A politcial Intrigue Campaign full of deep lore and beginner friendly The remnants of the draconic war left artificial suns, the light of moon and Technology that never dimmed. It lit the hope, life, and pride for our people. The world was bright again and it kept back the darkness, the dragons, and we rebuilt a home. the great houses brought back the peace in a world sought with darkness But they say that someday someone will bring back the sun to Adrinian Aristocracy Conflict of Status Quo: The world has stopped spinning. Half of the planet is cloaked in perpetual darkness while the other half basks in unending daylight. In the dark side of the world, the inhabitants live in constant fear of the Silhouettes, creatures born from the shadows of those who succumb to the gloom. School of Unfamiliarity: The perpetual darkness has plunged societies into chaos. The familiar rhythm of day and night is gone, and with it, the structure of life. People are forced to adapt to this new, eerie reality, learning to survive in a world where light is scarce and precious. Threat: The Silhouettes: Silhouettes are the most feared creatures of the dark side. These monsters appear as shadowy versions of the people they once were. They hunt relentlessly, driven by an insatiable hunger for those who remain in the darkness. Only light-based attacks can harm them, but they are also terrified of the light, fleeing from its touch. When you attack a target you cannot see, you have disadvantage on the attack roll. If the target isn’t in the location you targeted, you automatically miss. Survival Campaign: Survival is the primary concern. Resources are limited, and every day is a battle to find food, water, and light. The Silhouettes can't kill you outright; instead, they infect you with Penumbral Syndrome, a curse that slowly turns you into one of them. The infection begins as a small black mark and spreads over 28 days. If you are killed by a Silhouette again, the transformation accelerates, halving the time needed with each subsequent death. Goal: The ultimate goal is to reach the side of the world that remains in perpetual light. Rumors abound that this side is a paradise, holding the secrets needed to restart the world's rotation and cure Penumbral Syndrome. Yet, as you draw closer, the journey becomes increasingly dangerous. Common Rumors: Paradise in the Light: Many believe that the light side of the world is a utopia where food, water, and safety are abundant. It is said that the knowledge to restart the world’s spin and cure Penumbral Syndrome lies there. Beings of Light: Some fear that the beings inhabiting the light side are hostile, harming those who come from the dark. These rumors suggest that there is no hope in the light, only different dangers. The Gloom's Secret: Whispers suggest that the closer one gets to the light, the more powerful and numerous the Silhouettes become. It is said they guard a great secret that could save or doom the world.

About me

Well, look who rolled initiative....... My name is Josh I’ve been playing and GMing for a long time, and I genuinely love the game. I’m always thinking about D&D. Coming up with new mechanics, new stories, and new ways to make sessions feel fresh while still respecting the source material. I lean heavily into roleplay and improvisation, because I think the best moments at the table are the ones you don’t plan for. I love building immersive worlds and stories that really pull players in. If you want to play something a little strange or unexpected—like a Grung cowboy one session and a veteran from a forgotten war from another time the next—I’m happy to find a way to make it work if it serves the story. I enjoy playing with both new and experienced players. I’m always happy to help newcomers learn the game, and I love digging into backstories with players who want deep lore, personal stakes, and characters that feel real. At the end of the day, I just want everyone at the table to feel invested, comfortable, and excited to see what happens

How Oshu creates a safe table

X Card (Red): Used when content crosses a boundary (a Line) or causes significant discomfort; the scene stops, and the GM changes direction immediately. N Card (Yellow/Near): Signals that the current content is approaching a Line or Veil, asking the GM to slow down or shift focus, but the scene continues for now. O Card (Green/Okay): Used to confirm the player is comfortable and okay with the ongoing content, often signaling a positive check-in or a desire for more of that scene. message me on discord or startplaying games you will be sent a questionaire asking what you are and are not comfortable in the campagin which sets the tone.
