About the adventure
Survival Horror. This game will be focused on character interaction with some combat. Try to survive or even thrive hiding out in crypts while the undead prowl the surface. Scavenge for materials to escape the town. Deal with interactions with over a dozen individual NPCs that share your hiding place. If you're a fan of tense situations or grim dark settings this is the game for you!

About me
I've had 20+ years on both sides of the screen. I've been paid for GMing before in the form of a Convention ticket (Con on the Cob), which is a gaming convention near where I live: Macedonia, Ohio. I like dogs. I play Rule Of Cool, with the Caveat of a skill roll. I know many different systems and love learning more. I primarily use foundry for my games. I use fade-to-black for romantic interludes so please don't flirt with me, I suck at it. I have a degree in acting and professional experience on the stage as well as experience in an improv group: Scared Scriptless.

Creating your character
You may create characters beforehand or wait till session zero to create. If you choose to create beforehand, keep in mind that you will be starting in a tight knit community hiding out. Everyone will know everyone before starting. DM me beforehand if you want any rare backgrounds or classes.

What Groucho brings to the table
I will be bringing some character voices, ambient music, and atmosphere as a GM. I like Rules as Written, but I'm not above changing the rules if you have something cool in mind. I also will be providing a handout with all the NPCs in it.

How Groucho creates a safe table
I use X, N, and O cards. They can be DMed to me or put in game chat, either is fine. In session 0 we will go over characters, see if everyone is ok with everyone's choices, and set any lines and veils that need to be set.
