About the adventure
Godbound: The Broken Covenant is a EPIC and generally Greek inspired game! The system itself lends very little lore, and so I have crafted a new narrative! When discovering you have the blood of Gods within you, your destiny unfurls before you-- and your ascension to Godhood awaits. Gather the faith and adoration of the people whom you heroics save, fueling your powers even further. But beware, the closer to divinity you become-- the further away from humanity you are. This game will be providing a step-by-step guide on how to play Godbound for those unfamiliar with it! Whether unfamiliar or acquainted already, the materials and any personal touches needed will be provided so everyone is up to speed!

Hi! Willow, a storyteller and Game Master with about ten years of dice rolling, world building, and plot twisting experience. Most of which has been Play-by-Post. I run a wide variety of systems! Powers are decided by Words, like the Domains of a God, and XP is gained through mythic, legendary acts like the heroes of old. All materials will be provided!

What Sleepy brings to the table
Godbound is a mythic, cinematic roleplaying experience where you wield divinity-- and I am here to make that a reality! This is a game of thunderous might, divine hubris, and moments that might echo louder than war. You will play fledgling gods in a broken world, putting itself back together several thousand years later. Every word you speak can become legend-- and every decision leaves scars on the world itself. The campaign is heavily roleplay driven, leaning hard into theater of the mind. Expect ornate narration, epic encounters with gods and monsters! Combat is fast, dramatic, and consequential, but the heart of the game lives in character and belief. I provide world maps, regional breakdowns, cultures, factions, and mythic forces-- but the story is not on rails. The Gods, will take notice of you, should you be bold enough to strike out for their attention. If you like epic stakes, divine drama, morally charged decisions, and roleplay that feels operatic and intimate at the same time, this table is built for you!
