About the adventure

Far to the north, beyond the Spine of the World, lies a land swallowed by winter. Icewind Dale has not seen the sun in two long years, and Ten‑Towns clings to survival beneath the aurora‑lit sky. Your adventure begins at level 1, as unlikely heroes stepping into a world where fear and something far older than the cold lurk beneath the ice. 🧭 Explore frozen lakes and tundra… or the tunnels that whisper secrets best left buried 🔥 Forge bonds with the desperate folk of Ten‑Towns, or terrify the tundra's terrors 🧊 Shape the fate of Icewind Dale as its savior, its reckoning, or the reason the mead‑halls keep running out of firewood All players are welcome at this table, whether you’re brand new or a seasoned adventurer :)

About me

I’m a GM who thrives on bold action, clever problem‑solving, and shared storytelling. My tables are heroic at heart, with a dash of mystery and a wink of humor — the kind of place where you can sneak into a demon lord's castle, face an army of vile things that should not be, and still joke that the dragon could probably use a breath mint. I balance challenging, tactical combat with roleplay and exploration, all without taking myself too seriously. Most of all, I celebrate player victories, embrace surprises, and believe the best games are built together, one daring decision at a time.

Character creation

Creating your character

You will build your character prior to your first session using 2024 character sheet on DNDBeyond. I will be fully available to aid and answer any questions on discord to help. Feel free to use Standard Array or Standard Point Buy for stats. You may utilize any official WoTC content to create your character (Aka, no third party, partnered content, or Unearthed Arcana) as long as you use the most recent, updated version.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

While we play, we will be using discord to voice call and D&D Beyond and Foundry for the rest, you will need to have an account for each (which are free) and have computer to play on! If you are more comfortable with using D&D Beyond and the Beyond20 Extension to play your character, that's fine too! After joining the game, I'll send you my Discord contact information, as well as links to the game and my Discord server, then help you get set up!

How Red Archon creates a safe table

I onboard everyone with a free Session Zero to help you know the party, the vibe, and bring you onboard :) We'll discuss things to help you and the other players feel safe and comfortable. Your characters might face terror and risk death, but my games are meant to be enjoyable for everyone who sits at my table.
