About the adventure

ENLIST TODAY — THE EMPIRE NEEDS YOU "In service to the Emperor, we bring order to the galaxy." The Briefing: You are part of an elite Imperial operations unit. As a stormtrooper, officer, ISB agent, or engineer, your missions are clear: quell rebellion, protect the public order, and secure the future of the galaxy. But behind every command lies a question—how far will you go for the Empire? Engage in missions ranging from black ops to full-scale planetary control. So,e of which could have in universe canon consequences! Navigate the political webs of the Imperial hierarchy Face the ethical dilemmas of enforcing "peace" Command starships, deploy squads, interrogate spies Optional Force-sensitive subplots (rare, dangerous, and classified) ——— This is a custom campaign that I make entirely from scratch for each group based of PCs, while remaining faithful to the lore and time period. Join on Roll20 and Discord! And experience the exciting POV of the Empire, during the most interesting time of the empire - it's beginning! All that's asked is to keep a chill vibe and to come in the game with some form of cool character with you. Could be a clone trooper veteran, an inquisitor, anything really within reason.

About me

Hey there, adventurers! I go by The Forever DM on Discord, but feel free to call me Nick! I’m 27 years old and have over 13 years of experience playing and running tabletop RPGs, especially D&D and games like it. My style is relaxed, creative, and collaborative. I love running dynamic sandbox campaigns with multiple story threads, tailored to the players’ characters and preferred play styles. Whether it’s a custom world or a published module, I aim to make every session feel personal and engaging. I’m well-versed in both D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e, and I also run games using the Star Wars 5e conversion. I believe everyone deserves a seat at the table—whether you're a seasoned veteran or brand new to the hobby. My goal is always to create a fun, inclusive space where players feel safe experimenting, exploring, and expressing themselves. My friends know me as a DM who lets chaos reign (within reason!), and I do my best to say “yes, and...” whenever possible. I primarily use Roll20 to run my games, as it's given me the best results in creating immersive, organized sessions. I’ve also run systems like Masks: A New Generation, and I’m always open to learning new ones if it means creating the best experience for my players. More than anything, I want to build lasting memories and foster real camaraderie through shared storytelling. So if that sounds like your kind of table—pull up a chair. Let’s roll some dice and make something unforgettable. All the best, Nick

Character creation

Creating your character

On the Discord, there will be a dice bot where you will roll characters one at a time. You will roll either best out of three or until the number total equals 75 or above. All characters will have their choice of either a free feat or a free "Enhanced Item" of Premium or Standard quality.

What The DM Nick brings to the table

Players can expect session zero to cover introductions, the group dynamic (alignment/character preferences, lines and veils, etc.), explanations for what the adventure entails as well as expectations for what the players are looking to find. Any house rules or game settings, such as Milestone leveling, will also be discussed at this time. During sessions they can expect quick flow into or out of combat, some occasional voice work, good knowledge of the rules, and a sharp keeping of start and stop times so we can keep to schedule.

Homebrew rules

I utilize something called a "Fate" Dice in certain situations. All it is, is a flat roll of a D20. 11-20 is Favorable, 10-1 is not. This determines hpw a situation will go if the DM is unsure how to proceed. AT the start of every session, a player may recap the prior session and earn ONE point of inspiration to use at any time. This does not stack, and you can gift it to others.

Safety

How The DM Nick creates a safe table

On the Roll20, there will be a page where you can edit what you are excited about, and what you don't want to see. And at the end of each session, we will have a discussion about the good and bad bits of the session. In order to see where to go and improve. We will also have a session 0 to discuss character idea and build characters. On the Roll20, there will be a page where you can edit what you are excited about, and what you don't want to see.
