About me
Hi, I’m Nick — known at the table as Knitter of Yarns. I’m a Dungeon Master with 5 years of experience guiding players through complete Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, from first-time adventurers to seasoned returnees. I specialize in taking many loose threads—characters, choices, combat, and story—and weaving them into a clear, cohesive adventure that stays engaging from the first session to the last. I’ve run full campaigns including Dragon of Icespire Peak, Curse of Strahd, and Dungeon of the Mad Mage. My focus is on making D&D approachable and rewarding without sacrificing depth. Sessions are structured, combat-forward, and relaxed, with an emphasis on clarity, pacing, and fairness so players always understand what’s happening and what their options are. There’s no pressure to perform or roleplay beyond your comfort level. You don’t need accents, dramatic monologues, or system mastery to belong at my table—just curiosity and a willingness to engage. You play your character your way; I handle the structure that keeps everything moving smoothly. I’m intentional about creating calm, supportive tables where questions are always welcome and everyone has space to participate. New groups can feel overwhelming, so I prioritize organization, respectful table flow, and clear explanations—especially for players who are new or returning after time away. My DM style is facilitative and steady. I keep sessions on track, adapt to different play styles, and make sure no one is rushed, talked over, or left behind. Even during intense combat, the goal is a table that feels welcoming, focused, and fun—where every thread matters. What you can expect: Beginner-friendly pacing with clear explanations Tactical, well-balanced combat with meaningful choices Fully prepared maps, tools, and smooth online play A patient, low-pressure environment that respects your comfort level If you’re new to D&D, returning after a break, or simply looking for a dependable DM who values clarity, fairness, and a well-woven story, I’d be glad to guide you through your next adventure.
