About the adventure
This Conspiracy X game is an ideal intro for new players to the game. You are invited to a game full of aliens, the supernatural and government conspiracies in which you will play members of a secret government group that investigates strange phenomena. You will battle to protect our world, uncover evidence, reveal twisted plots and encounter alien life forms and strange phenomena.

About me
Im an illustrator, educator and storyteller from Ireland. In those roles i have contributed art to several games and books, teach workshops in creative areas such as art and writing and then also travel extensively telling myth and folklore stories from around the world. All the above interests stemmed from discovering RPGs as a kid. Role-playing games allow me to channel all the above interests and with over 40 years of experience in countless systems i have honed a style of gamesmastering that is fun, propulsive and action packed. Im a relatively easy going GM and the rules are very much a hook on which to build fun sessions and memories. In my education work i have also ran rpgs for beginners as i have always been keen to highlight the benefits of this amazing hobby as doorway to improving social, creative, literacy and numerical skills. So i have no problem guiding new players through the various games and systems i run. Overall, im here to share my skillsets, network and make new friends. Creating your character
Characters will be provided for this one shot and shared at the outset.
In a Conspiracy X game you will play characters from various world organisations like the FBI, CDC, Military or Airforce...Each character gains some ability to draw on their organisational resources. There are also psychic characters. This game will include 1 Psychic character alongside 2 others.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The game will run through a Discord channel. Please check your audio and cam are working fine before session. Generally I prefer have everyone participate on webcam as i feel it increases engagement and also allows a Gm to help read the room in terms of attention and comfort. But its not essential.
What Wayne O brings to the table
I place emphasis on story and pace above rule mechanics. While i do adhere to rules, they are secondary to the story events and the game tends to be pacey and full of momentum. Moments of roleplay are not ignored and i like to lean into the world of Conspiracy X in many ways...Expect revelations, horror, strange phenomena and lots of excitement.
