About the adventure
We're going to start off with the adventures in the two Starter sets to teach the system (first starter set will finish on 2/11/2026 and 2nd one will probably finish on 2/18/2026) The first is a group of hobbits The second is a more traditional one shot adventure. Then, we're going to delve into one of the Great Campaigns: The Darkening of Mirkwood. Over a 30 year period, the PCs will see the growing Shadow returning to Mirkwood and fight against it. Visit the Parliament of Spiders, do battle with the Nazgl, meddle in the affairs of Wizards, and enter the Halls of King Thranduil. Heroes, enemies and allies shall rise and fall over the course of the campaign until the fate of Mirkwood has been decided.

We'll be creating characters in the first session. Character creation in The One Ring is fairly quick, especially with Foundry.

There will be a Consent sheet to help dial in the game's content. We will be using Foundry as well as a Discord.
What Mikel (ImprovGM) brings to the table
We'll use Foundry for character sheets and to keep information and notes and I'll bring everything that's needed, included information about character abilities. It'll be mainly theatre of the mind style play.
