About the adventure
Your group decided to take a rest at the woods. The moonlight barely enters the place where you're sleeping and the only thing you can hear is the fire sputters as a low mist gathers around the edges of your camp, then one by one you can listen to all your party screaming. A creeping fog took you, frozen hands embrace you to the darkness... The sun never came, but a friendly torch did. When you opened your eyes and saw your party you realized that you are not in home anymore, you are in a curse land. This campaing module (Curse of Stradh) takes places on Ravenloft, so embrace the mysteries, the secrets and the eldrich horrros whose alredy know your name, be ready to a roleplay focus campaing with such a popular and great module and a DM which try to give it an unique spark! We start at level 1 and will go up to level 10 on D&D 2024, if you didn't play it before come to give it a try! About me
I'm Facundo, I'm 21 years old, I'm from Argentina and I've been playing D&D for two years as a DM. I love acting and making stories, D&D arrived to my life to be a safe place where I merged both things and just cover it up with my love for videogames and tabletops games 👻 I love to put so much work in each of my games, even in oficial modules I try to make an unique twist. Creating your character
We are going to start the character creation by texting or I recommend my players to do a session 0 so you can bring a lot of possible ideas! I will drop you some lore and key features about the World (most of the information will came from "Van Richten's guide to Ravenloft"). If you want, you can make you character sheet and send it to me to upload it on Fantasy Grounds, else, you can directly make it in the program when I drop the password for the session.
We are already at level 4 and have an Elf Druid who it's really into being lawful good and help everyone with her magic; a Human Fighter who wants to know what happened to his crew; a Warforged Artificer which is searching for the one who killed it's creator; & a Human Paladin vistani who served The Lord of the Cursed Lands of Barovia before and now wants that thing dead. They are in Vallaki, a village which is suppose to be a good place to left Ireena, a girl who is being chase by this Evil Lord of the Land. A fortune teller told the party to search for a Wizard's Tower, a kneeling woman, a set of amber doors, a woman near to St. Markovia's abbey and after all that fight the Lord at the tomb of the man he envied above all.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need to make an account in Fantasy Grounds and download the Fantasy Grounds VTT (when the installer ask for a key, you just press on continue). You will need a Discord account and join my server too. Both accounts are free, you don't need to buy any Fantasy Grounds book!
What Facundo brings to the table
I try (awful) character voices, sometimes I start repeting but I try my best to give every NPC a good and unique personality! I play some ambience music! I'm trying to implement sounds too. I like a difficult combat with a bit of roleplaying, I'm not tactic and don't put so much attention on covers and stuff like that, but if you do, you will get inspiration! I love to drop lore and put your backstories in play, so try something maybe just one line backstory but with a little bit of flavour. Usually I put a lot of custom lore, so be caution and put attention to NPCs. Love when players try crazy plans or very cool attacks.
Homebrew rules
I have some few homebrew rules related to inspiration and we'll talk about them by chat or in a session 0 if everyones choice to run a free one before start! Beasides that, the usual ones: Drinking healing potion as bonus action, etc.

How Facundo creates a safe table
I will send you to complete the Game Expectation Sheet form DMG 2024 to get to know about your triggers, phobias and expectations at the time of playing. We are going to do a Session 0 where all we can present ourselfs to everybody, be ready to say bye bye to shyness. At the end of every session I set the tone and a hook for next session and invite you to talk a few minutes about the things you enjoyed and the ones you don't, I'm open to the critics! We're here to play and be happy!
