Clear pathways to move forward, tonnes of options that aren't just pure combat, complex NPC relationships, and 23 MEGA-LEVELS of chaos and unpredictability. 🗡️Create a character that has a strong reason to enter the Dungeon - whether you're searching for a lost artefact, want to kill a specific monster, or are looking for someone long lost! A party with a good mix of charm and combat will be useful. 🥨 What's special in MY version of Dungeon of the Mad Mage? TWO THINGS: MONSTER FOOD & INTEGRATING YOUR CHARACTER INTO THE DUNGEON. 🍲As with the Dungeon Meshi portion of this game, we'll have a mini-game of food preparation, collecting ingredients, and gaining benefits from those dishes! Creating your character
We will make characters during a session 0 to ensure that we are all aligned and that our characters have a reason to stick together. Stats will either be point-buy or by rolling - we will decide together during session 0. No ban lists, but all homebrew materials are subject to re-balancing as needed. In particular, I have had many players use the Pugilist, Bloodhunter, and Swordmage classes.
