About the adventure

You are a party of new Knights, Protectors of the Realms, an Oath sworn to keep its people safe, and seek out the Myths that plague them. Tied together by the decree of Seers, you have traveled far to find the ever-elusive Glory. You all agree, you will be the party to find the Lost City, if you can live long enough to go search for it that is. The passage of time hunts every Knight. When one mistake is all it takes to lose your life, how long you live is as much a test of skill as it is luck. Knights better than the likes of you have been felled by stray arrows or wandering creatures. It will take time, discipline, and fortune to survive in these realms. Which just leaves one question, are you feeling lucky? This is going to be a Saga of Mythic Bastionland, a long-term campaign, intended for people new to the system but all experience is happily welcomed.

About me

My beginnings started over a decade ago. I was asked by a friend to help create a Pokémon D&D campaign. It was in 4th edition, and what we made was janky, overly complicated, and an absolute mess. But I was hooked. Ever since then I have fallen in love with creating and telling stories with my friends. Whether it was creating evil and terrifying vampires for Vampire the Masquerade, exploring giant labyrinthine cave systems in Dungeons and Dragons, telling stories of interpersonal connections and choices in games like Die, or anything in between I have never not had fun when creating collaborative stories

Character creation

Creating your character

Character Creation will occur in a free Session 0 where we will also go over Lines and Veils and other Safety Tools I use. I will help with making characters to all who need it, and we will work together to find some ties between party members We will be making Knight-Errants, young Knights, new to their Oaths, with grand ideas of the protectors they will grow to become.

Safety

How Kole creates a safe table

During the free session 0, we will discuss Lines and Veils, and I will send everyone a form they can fill out that further expands on specifics that they can choose to opt out of our game entirely. Player safety is important, and people can Veto/X a scene at any time no questions asked. After the session is over, I like to have everyone go around and do stars and wishes and use this as a time to make sure everyone is feeling good as well.
