About the adventure
Hello! This table is meant to be an introductory experience, as we’ll be running the Stormwreck Isle module. New players are more than welcome—and veterans or experienced players, feel free to join us and wreak a little havoc along the way! As hinted in the title, this adventure offers hooks and opportunities that extend beyond the Draconic Isles, allowing the story to grow naturally if the group wishes to continue beyond the orignial module. If you want to learn D&D through a cozy setting and grounded play, this is the perfect place to start. Explore the draconic mysteries of Stormwreck Isle, an archipelago shaped by ancient dragon conflicts. Seek glory and power among their bones and forgotten hoards—or pursue wisdom and guidance from the elders of the Isles, preparing yourself for adventures yet to come. Let your time here be your own pilgrimage, and decide what path your story will follow.

About me
Hello! I’m Nuno, a passionate tabletop RPG enthusiast and Game Master with nearly a decade of experience in the hobby. My journey with TTRPGs began in 2015, inspired by actual-play content and Brazilian creators who shaped how I understand storytelling, pacing, and table dynamics. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to learning the craft of RPGs—both as a player and, primarily, as a GM. I started GMing in 2018, running homebrew adventures and developing my own settings. Like many GMs, my early games were experimental and chaotic—but they pushed me to improve. Over time, I refined my approach to rules, narrative structure, and encounter design, running multiple long-term campaigns for different groups. I enjoy games where player choices matter, and where combat is approached tactically. I’m fair but demanding in encounters, and I adapt my style to the table—whether players prefer roleplay, exploration, or tactical combat. I’ve run several multi-arc campaigns, including a full level 1–20 campaign, which remains a highlight of my GMing journey. My goal as a GM is simple: create engaging worlds, memorable characters, and stories that players will still talk about long after the campaign ends.

Creating your character
About Creating your characters: We will be using Foundry, so I will be hosting the game a week before the first session (online everyday), and online on discord to provide support for creating the PCs. We will use the Dnd 5e 2014 general rules, but you can create your character using the 2024 that it will be fine. You can create your PC at level 1 using the Standard array for Ability Scores, those will be rolled at session one using the 4d6 drop lowest formula, if you know how to get stats that way just print me the roll and its fine, if you don't know use the default method that we will solve it later. For allowed books and homebrew: Any official released book for the 5th edition (2014 or 2024), if you want to use UA and homebrews (Kobold Press, Pointy Hat, etc) just send me a message and we will talk about it.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have access to: Discord Web Browser (to Use Foundry) You will be needed to join a Server in common with me so you could login at the VTT, more info about it I can send via Discord. (Since I'm from Brazil is not that simple)
What Nuno Andrade brings to the table
This adventure is meant to an introduction to Dnd and its shenanigans, so if you already know how to play be patient with others who don't, the objective is give them a good experience playing RPG. Besides, we will have some voicing for different NPCs (as much as my skill lets me to do) and the RP is meant to be dictated by the players, although running a module you guys will not be railroaded to complete it, just do you and we all will have a great time. I like to do tactical combat, with descriptions of attacks and effects in between actions. I don't care about metagaming during combat, unless the party do not like it. I usually stick to some RAW (Rule as Written) when regarding magic and effects, but I like creative decisions so do your best and I will let you do your desire!
Homebrew rules
To simplify, expect the combat to go just like in Baldur's Gate 3. Potions are BA, we don't check cover, flanking does not exist (unless all the players agree to it), Crafting follows a table of my own and it simply is done by downtime while Long Resting. This adventure will not use Gritty Rest.

How Nuno Andrade creates a safe table
During character creation, or the beginning of session one we will address what themes and descriptions the players are comfortable with. And after each session we will have feedback time, these are meant to be constructive and induce a "Design Critique" formula where we, as a group, need to improve to achive peak fun.
