About the adventure

šŸŽ² Dungeons of Drakkenheim — Powered by Daggerheart šŸŽ² Drakkenheim lies in ruin. Hope fades, Fear rises, and the streets crawl with monsters, magic, and questionable life choices — yours included. The city is choked by the Haze, crawling with horrors, whispers of forbidden knowledge, and dangers that test your blade and judgment. Factions fight for control, each with twisted agendas. Nothing is free, and no one is your friend. Navigate treacherous politics, exploit opportunities, or cling to your principles — all while surviving a city that seems determined to eat you, in every sense. Daggerheart’s Hope & Fear mechanics make every choice meaningful, shaping your story and Drakkenheim’s fate. Expect moral dilemmas, creeping corruption, and consequences that echo long after the Haze clears. šŸ’€ Claim your piece of Drakkenheim — or be consumed by it. ā€¢šŸ©» Survival horror: Monsters, mutants, and the corrupting Haze ā€¢šŸ‘„ Factions: Everyone has an agenda, nothing is free ā€¢āš” Choices matter: Hope & Fear shape your story and the city ā€¢šŸ“œ Forbidden knowledge: Power and secrets come at a cost ā€¢šŸŽ Moral dilemmas: Will you compromise to survive — or thrive? ā€¢šŸ˜ˆ High stakes: Every action echoes through Drakkenheim, sometimes literally Here you can find some teasers of my tables: - GM reel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KinsNdfbTc - Sneak Peek: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_LyUmFGbvBn6ct33DCCFoVKbqBhBbs-L?usp=share_link (This game will not start before the 18th of January, even if minimum players count is reached before that.)

About me

Step into Khitan’s Crossing. I’m GM Khitan, and at my table, every decision matters and every character leaves a mark on the world. Here, your choices shape the story, your relationships evolve naturally, and the narrative responds to the paths you take. Adventures unfold in rich, immersive worlds, full of meaningful dilemmas, unexpected turns, and moments that stay with you long after the session ends. Every session is a chance to explore, to test your character, and to dive into stories that are as dynamic and alive as the players at the table. I focus on crafting experiences where your creativity drives the journey, your roleplay shapes the narrative, and your character’s growth is central. Take a seat at the Crossing — your story begins now, and the path is yours to shape.

Character creation

Creating your character

You’ll start at level 1 and work your way through all the tiers of play, reaching level 10 by the end. That means you’ll see your character grow and face the full range of Daggerheart’s challenges — from the streets of Drakkenheim to the heart of its corruption. We’ll build characters together during Session 0, focusing on bonds, goals, and how you fit into the city. Bring an idea, a sketch, or even a full sheet — but stay flexible. Characters need to work together, survive, and maybe make a few morally questionable choices along the way. Everything official is fair game. If you know your way around the system, you can explore Void options, though newcomers can safely skip them. The goal? Characters who feel part of each other’s story — so the adventure starts as soon as you step into Drakkenheim.

The current party

The party is made of: - Sir Edrick Vale Lysander: Orderborne human Guardian, Vengeance - Thornisca: Slyborne faerie Druid, Warden of the Elements - Augustus: High borne galapa Bard, Wordsmith

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The game will be run on Foundry VTT (virtual tabletop) with Discord for voice chat. Webcam is optional, but a microphone is recommended. Before the first session, make sure you have: • A stable internet connection • A quiet location • A good microphone • Access to a computer or laptop • A Sqyre account (free and easy to set up) • A Discord account Getting these ready ahead of time will make your first session smooth and let you focus on surviving the streets, factions, and corruption of Drakkenheim.

What GM Khitan brings to the table

šŸ’» Polished Foundry VTT setup ⛺ Immersive visuals, music, and sound effects šŸ—ŗļø High-stakes exploration in Haze-choked streets šŸ’„ Cinematic, fast-paced combat šŸ§™ā€ā™‚ļø Experienced GM focused on your fun and growth šŸ‘„ Choices that matter — moral dilemmas and corruption šŸ•·ļø Faction intrigue and shifting alliances šŸ¤ Safe, inclusive, and collaborative table

Homebrew rules

We’ll be using the Beta Campaign Frame for Dungeons of Drakkenheim, which adds unique rules for corruption, exploration, and the hazards of the city. We’ll go over everything during Session 0, but here’s a teaser: ā€¢šŸ©ø Corruption & contamination: The city can taint your body and mind. The more corrupted you become, the more hope you lose. ā€¢āš” Empowered domains at a cost: Contamination can give you stronger abilities, but nothing comes free. ā€¢šŸ§Ÿā€ā™‚ļø Horrible mutations: Push your corruption too far, and your body may warp in powerful — yet terrifying — ways. ā€¢šŸ—ŗļø City hazards: Choosing where to go, how fast to move, and what to avoid is vital for survival. Danger lurks behind every corner. ā€¢šŸ•·ļø Factions & intrigue: Multiple factions vie for power and your allegiance, tracked with a relationship system — some may want you dead! ā€¢šŸ’„ Massive Damage optional rule: Deal double the major damage threshold, and you lose an extra HP. High-risk combat is very real here. Aside from these additions, it’s a classic Daggerheart experience with a strong focus on story, narrative, and player-driven consequences.

Safety

How GM Khitan creates a safe table

Drakkenheim is a very dark adventure, to which I'll put an even darker spin. There will be violence, gore, and suffering. The above content warnings will be present but most of them can be discussed and cut from the adventure if they make you uncomfortable. We will use a host of safety tools to make sure that everyone feels safe in the game. Before starting you will be asked to compile a form with your lines and veils, the things you don't want to appear in the game, and during the game we will use X/N/O cards, bleed, debriefing and aftercare, to make sure that the tone of the adventures is acceptable for everybody. We will also use Stars and Wishes, a tool to give feedback to your GM, to ensure that your desires are met. My tables are friendly and inclusive and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
