About the adventure
Arkham, 1927. The rain doesn't wash the filth off these streets; it just turns it into a slurry. I was nursing a lukewarm coffee when the package arrived. No return address. Just a heavy crate that smelled like a shipwreck and bad decisions. Inside? The Crown of Dagon. Solid gold, but it feels heavier than lead. It’s got a shine that makes your teeth ache and a history that would turn a priest’s hair white. 🐙 Your objective is simple, but simple ain't ever easy. About me
As a seasoned chef by trade, when I'm not whipping up culinary masterpieces in the kitchen, I'm a tabletop RPG Game Master, conjuring fantastical worlds for brave adventurers to explore. I bring my chef's touch to the table, running lighthearted "beer and pretzel" games where laughter flows freely. My games run primarily on Foundry Vtt, using discord for voice and video. My DM style is improvisational and i love to make things up on the fly and use silly voices. I've run games for my local FLGS for 8 years and 10 years in total, as well as teaching role playing games as part of afterschool clubs for 3-5th graders and 5-8th graders. Using my years of experience, i've run tables as big as 12 players with ages from 60+ to as low as 4! Creating your character
If you haven't play CoC before: I will have a special session 0 with you before game time where we will roll up an investigator together. For experienced players: - We will be using the classic Dice Roll method for generating scores. Please use https://www.dholeshouse.org/ to generate a investigator and save the .json file to send to me thru discord. ---- - Additionally we will be making up to 2 connections to some of the other Investigators which will net you a point based on how you know each other. ex. if you both happen to visit the same library, +1 to library checks.

Homebrew rules
🧠 Fail forward. When you fumble your roll, you get a single point in that skill. Additionally any skills that you spend luck points on can also be marked for improvement later on. 🔍 Pre-session recap. Investigators who recap the previous session receive 1d10 luck points for the game.

How DM 'Ironheart' Melo creates a safe table
We will be using a simple 'Pause' for any safety or game concerns/clarifications. At any moment a player may call for a 'Pause' and all game action will stop and we can address any concerns, whether it be something they don't feel comfortable with or just over-all rules questions. The aim of the game is to have fun and get some laughs in. At no point should anyone feel uncomfortable.
