This is not a rushed retelling of the published adventure. It is a fully reworked epic that begins in the gutter and ends in all-out war across the hells. The story opens with a level 0 prologue. Players begin as children raised together in the same orphan house, forming bonds, rivalries, and shared history before the world ever turns its eyes on them. After a ten-year time skip, the campaign ignites with the party as young adults already embedded in a criminal syndicate. You are not chosen heroes. You are survivors, already compromised, already entangled, already in too deep. From there, the campaign unfolds across two living cities before the descent ever begins. Players will explore Elturel in depth while it still stands, walking its shining streets, navigating its holy orders, political pressures, and the rot beneath its divine image. Hundreds of named NPCs, hundreds of locations, and a dense web of interlocking quests ensure the city reacts, remembers, and changes. You will not just witness Elturel’s fall. You will understand it, and your choices will determine what is lost with you inside. Baldur’s Gate follows, darker, dirtier, and brutally honest. This is a true sandbox city driven by crime, politics, and power, offering over one hundred interconnected quests, faction struggles, and dangerous opportunities. Every deal has consequences. Every alliance carries a price. Threads intertwine, doors close, and earlier decisions echo forward in ways you cannot undo. What you do in Baldur’s Gate follows you all the way to Hell. This is not an evil campaign, but it is one that pushes characters dangerously close to the edge. Devils and demons are not just enemies here, but ideologies made flesh. Order becomes tyranny. Chaos becomes temptation. Players are forced to decide how far they are willing to go, what lines they will cross, and what those choices cost when the universe keeps score. When criminals come face to face with pure evil, there are no clean answers. The final act erupts in Avernus itself. Infernal war machines tear across blasted landscapes. Factions collide. Alliances shatter. The campaign escalates into Mad Max–style warfare in the hells, where the allies you earned, the enemies you created, and the compromises you justified decide who stands with you, who hunts you, and how the war ends. Creating your character
Here are some guidelines and rules for everyone to follow when making a character for any session. Please follow these rules when making a character unless the specific session says otherwise. 1. Make the character YOU want, you start level 3. Priority 1 is that you enjoy what you play, priority 2 is figuring out a balanced campaign party. 2. All races & classes listed on DnDBeyond Official (Not the homebrew sections) are allowed. 2.2. The spell “Silvery Barbs” from Strixhaven is banned from player selection. 3. Only currently allowed homebrew is from LaserLlama (https://www.gmbinder.com/profile/laserllama) 4. For character creation you will use Point Buy system. 5. Characters start with standard equipment. 6. NO Chaotic Evil or Neutral Evil characters. You can play Lawful Evil but you'll need to explain how and why it is they would travel the world and help others while being evil. The party holds the right to ask you to change your alignment if it negatively impacts sessions. 7. Characters will be built in Foundry after being accepted into the campaign. 8. Please have a backstory finished as soon as possible. A basic one is needed before you start and a more detailed one for later.Once you have a basic theme, we will work together to build a story that is tied into the world.
