About the adventure
The ever popular Curse of Strahd is a horror adventure for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. Players can expect a bleak setting, difficult combats, and truly evil villains. My name is Ethan, and this is my third campaign of Curse of Strahd. I have thousands of hours of GM experience and I've completed the vast majority of 5e adventures professionally. If you have any questions about the adventure please reach out to me!

About me
Hello! My name is Ethan and I've been a professional GM since 2020. I started playing tabletop RPG's in the late 90's and early 2000's with my dads Heroquest box, and moved on to play D&D 3.5 and 4th. (Which I actually enjoyed quite a bit.) I started GMing professionally with 5th edition, and have completed nearly every module up to Witchlight with my friends and patrons. I'm new to Startplaying, but I'm excited to start new adventures here!

Creating your character
For character creation we communally generate scores via the 4d6 drop lowest method which the players then assign. Players are able to default to standard array or point buy if the generation is unfavorable. Character options will be provided in D&D beyond, but players who prefer to use roll20 may do so. Characters will start at level 3
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a microphone, an account on Roll20, and access to Discord for voice.
What Ethan brings to the table
Players can expect me to uphold RAW/RAI as much as possible in the name of a fair table experience for everyone involved. Combats will be dangerous and tactical, and the tone of the table is a social and fun focused
Homebrew rules
Players can take a single non 'half-feat' at level 1. Ostensibly, this is so players have an option besides variant human that offers this. If a player chooses to play variant human I only ask that at least one of the feats be more roleplay focused.
